Food Is not bad and it is pretty tasty. Some of the staff I find are some times rude and aren’t nice. I came once and was told that I could not get a table because someone was coming in an hour. An hour seriously how long do they think it will take me to eat.

An individual that appears to be a staff member there — by his uniform— yells profanity to drivers stopping in front of Granite Brewery. He forgets perhaps the required manners and how his behaviour reflect on the business. I don’t know the guy’s name but he’s rather slender built, greyish un-groomed hair like Jean-Paul Belmondo. Oh, and by the way, stopping is permitted only standing and parking are not.

Beers were excellent! Will try to visit again :)

We just had our wedding at Granite in September and the day went perfectly. The accommodating and relaxed environment of Granite and the staff just makes for a cozy and intimate environment. The perfect vibe for our wedding! We had 70 people in total and it was perfect. The fact that you can have a quiet garden ceremony, followed by a covered patio cocktail hour, followed by a dinner reception in the back dining room is so ideal. We did a buffet style reception and the food was a big hit, guests are still complimenting it weeks later. Drink service was super attentive. Shout out to Trish who was a familiar and happy face throughout the day. There was nowhere else in Toronto that we could have had this versatility in venue, quality of service, and a central Toronto location for the price. Super reasonable and Sam the GM consistently entertained all of my questions fast and professionally. Their FAQ online is also so helpful and transparent. Thank you Granite team!!!

Food is so so for pub grub. Seating in the back is spacious, somewhat cozy. The service however not that great. Each time I sat in the (front) area for some odd reason, the service has been very slow. They seem to really cater to their regular crowd & people at the bar. I’d say one or two of the staff are pretty friendly. The rest not so much. Prices are a little high for the quality you get.

Got quite sick drinking the beer here once, sanitation issue I assume. Otherwise I really enjoy their beer when it isn't completely flat (half the time it is from the growlers). Save your money and go somewhere else.

Location is great, and the place looks super nice, that’s about it. Service is horrible, food terrible and definitely not worth 50 dollars a person for bacon and eggs. Did I mention how awful the service is. And the servers are super nice, but they had two servers scrambled for 60 people, they could barely do anything. No cutlery, no napkins, they can’t come back to charco on u because they were spread so thin. Terrible service. NEVER AGAIN

My husband and I got married at the Granite recently and we had such a wonderful time that it's kind of hard to express how much we love this wonderful establishment and its people.

The people:
Firstly, Sam was our main point of contact for our wedding and from our first meeting, we knew that we were in good hands. He was responsive, friendly, and genuine whenever we spoke to him and we just knew we could trust him with our big day. We visited the Granite one day several months before our wedding to find that a renovation had happened unbeknownst to us and the reception area for our wedding looked quite different than what we had originally booked. When we reached out to Sam about it, he took the time to explain why the renovations were necessary (it made total sense), took accountability immediately, and made things right for us. It meant a lot to us that he didn't just dismiss us or argue with us, and it says a lot about how well he manages his family's business.

In addition to Sam, everyone who works at the Granite is super lovely. Ryan, Tinna, Owen, and Ada are all super friendly and always provide amazing service. The feedback we got from our wedding guests was that the service was prompt and excellent. Unfortunately, one of our guests made a mess on the floor (we're so sorry) but the staff handled it so professionally and didn't mention a word of it to us.

The food:
The food at the Granite is amazing. All our guests raved about the food, including my picky mother! We went with Buffet 2 and both the chicken and beef were incredible. Both were perfectly cooked. Super tender and juicy - not dry at all. My go-to on regular days (not my wedding day) is the lamb curry which is so hearty, delicious and really spicy. Ironically, despite getting married at a brewery, I am not a big drinker but have quite enjoyed the Ringberry ale! They are also super accommodating and clear about dietary restrictions so if you have any vegetarians or people with allergies in your group, they are very easy to work with.

Atmosphere + premises:
From the outside you would never be able to tell how just how charming this place is. The indoor seating areas are just so cozy and the reception area is great for events. We also attended a trivia night once and it was a blast. The patio is really nice and overlooks a beautiful courtyard which is where we did our wedding ceremony + photos. I cannot get over how beautiful it looked out there with the white hydrangeas in full bloom. We also love how the washrooms are inclusive. Our guests appreciated that this was an all-in-one venue where you can do the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one location. No one wants a 3 hour gap between a church service and a reception at opposite ends of the city!

Value:
If you're looking for a wedding venue that can accommodate around ~100 ish, I highly recommend checking out the Granite. Every other venue we looked at was ridiculously priced with crazy additional fees. The Granite gives you everything you need without ever trying to upsell you or charge you for any extra stuff. It's all very clear from the beginning what you're paying for.

I promise you won't be disappointed if you book your wedding with Granite. They really are the best team and my husband and I cannot thank them enough for their hard work in making our day so perfect.

In summary:
-great food
-great staff
-cozy + intimate atmosphere
-beautiful courtyard
-free parking
-fun, inclusive events like drag brunches
-ceremony, cocktail hour + reception all-in-one location

What more could you ask for?

Good could be better but that’s represented with the size of the menu and to be expected.

Beer is good, our service has been spot on most of our visits.

We had our wedding at Granite in April of 2025 and were so happy with our decision! The space looked and felt so intimate, cozy, and charming, which was exactly what we wanted. They had recently completed their renovations which freshened up the space while still keeping the charm. Our wedding felt like a big intimate dinner party with friends, which was exactly what we wanted, and everyone loved the food.

We loved how easy and accommodating the team was to work with. Sam the manager was incredibly responsive, accommodating and transparent, and made wedding planning such a breeze.

The staff on the day of went above and beyond to make us feel so cared for and welcome. Owen, Ada, and the rest of the team were all wonderful, and everything ran so smoothly. We truly felt like we were among friends.

We love that we can now come back to Granite and reminisce about such a special day. Thank you to the whole Granite team for making our wedding so special!

We had the absolute best experience hosting our wedding at Granite Brewery! From start to finish, the service was outstanding. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and stress-free. They were attentive, kind, and genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible.

What really stood out was their incredible attention to detail. Throughout the night, there were so many thoughtful touches that made everything feel extra magical. You could really see how much pride they take in what they do. Nothing was overlooked, and every element was handled with care and professionalism.

We’re so grateful to everyone at Granite Brewery for helping make our wedding unforgettable. If you’re looking for a venue that’s warm, accommodating, and truly goes the extra mile, this is it. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding here last month, and we still can't stop talking about how special the venue is. The ceremony in the courtyard was simply magical. Fantastic value, good food, and the friendliest service. Owen in particular was so enthusiastic and helpful throughout all of the planning and the event itself. We definitely plan on going back to try the food and drinks that we haven't had a chance to try yet!

Last Saturday I went to an event in your garden. The food was great, the location was nice but the service was horrible!!!!! Not all the staff were bad, but several urgently need customer service training. answers like right now I'm busy when you ask for something, But the worst part is a waitress who is on the entrance terrace, The lady screamed and insulted because we were moving a chair when she was able to politely indicate that it was not allowed, I felt her attitudes inappropriate and racist. Because my children were in front of me and were already scared by the waitress's terrible attitude, I decided to remain silent. I think they urgently need to reevaluate they're in a service position or urgently change jobs. Life is too short to live bitterly.
