Went to watch the Blue Jays ALCS Game 7 and it was the perfect place to watch! There was a good amount of seating, and the staff is excellent! It filled up as the game went on and there was a nice game-day atmosphere. The beer is amazing, but even better is the food! The chicken liver pate was absolutely amazing and I guess it's a regular thing for people to get because after we had ours we saw lots of other tables getting it! Great french fries and the warmed olives were a great snack as well. The 3.2% Superlite and 3.7% Mild were both awesome, as were the boozier beers we had in a flight. This was our second time going and we'll be back :)
Really enjoyed our dinner here. Food, beers and service were all A+. We were four adults and six kids, including 1 baby, and kids meals were great and server very helpful with our kids chaos. Kids meals also free on Saturday nights which was a pleasant surprise! Will definitely be back again.

Bought a case of Canuck and tried to carry it home. The cheap cardboard GLB is using these days disintegrated five minutes away, all over Royal York road. Cans smashed on the pavement, etc.. Had to scramble and return home with whatever wreckage was left--carrying 24 cans without a container and a pile of broken wet cardboard along with groceries.
Called the brewery on getting home and the staff just sort of verbally shrugged, puzzled at the idea that they'd be asked to fix a problem. I tried explaining that returning that pile of wreckage wasn't tenable and the product was ruined anyway. Silence. Nobody offered to deliver a replacement to swap or talk to somebody who would actually help.
What is wrong with these people. GLB sells a generic product in an industry where service and reputation are the only thing to set you apart. And they don't care for service or reputation. They obviously want you to go elsewhere.

First night into Toronto and popped in here. Staff was very attentive, food was great, beer was greater. Had the Crispy Buffalo Chicken with truffle fries. Got some beers to go which were very cheap. Certainly more so than convenience stores (and it's great beer!)

This restaurant was "ok" - to be honest after looking at the pictures and menu - I expected a little more. No real complaints overall but I just wasn't wow'd in any way. Basic meal, service was quite good - yeah - just pretty vanilla.
This is a brewhouse on Lower Jarvis Street. They have a good size indoor seating area as well as outdoor tables if weather is favourable. Opening hours are 11am to 11pm daily. They offer up a nice range of house brew on tap as well as some visitor beers, spirits and a few wines to go along with a menu of pub grub food items. We stopped by for a round of drinks recently after walking the Lake Ontario waterfront and enjoyed their Great Lakes Stout and glass of Pinot Gris. Service was very friendly, vibes casual and relaxed. Just seemed like a fun venue for a round of drinks or early meal. Would be happy to stop by again based on this experience.

Great beer, and the liver pate starter was delicious! Our server was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the partially covered patio area out front. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again!
