Great bowls! Small place. I’ve read some reviews of the owner but she’s always been kind with me - I feel like some people may just be reacting to her body language too harshly. The food is really good and worth the trip!

Who hurt this owner? Why she so annoyed? Why so rude?
My girlfriend and I had guests from the west coast and had an amazing time down the street at almond butterfly. Wanted to get my girlfriend something to eat for work and was excited to get a bowl from this place.
Upon entering, the atmosphere was dim, desolate and uncomfortable. We thought maybe it’s a hidden gem. We were wrong. We were met with a weird attitude from the owner. We were met with smug remarks after excitedly saying it’s our first time here, the owner didn’t show any care or friendliness and just eye rolled looked away and pointed at the menu, We thought maybe it was a bad day and had continued with the order.
The salad was not made with love, or put in the ingredients that were supposed to be there. Which is usually fine if she wasn’t rude and short with us as customers. Gave us the bowl with a stiff arm and turned around. After asking for cutlery she reponded with ‘ok yea, you have to ask for cutlery, we don’t give it for to go customers unless they asked’ and we responded with ‘ok we asked for it’
And then as we were walking out, she said something under her breath which sounded insulting so we asked her to clarify what she wanted to say to us. She goes on a whole tangent of how it was us who were rude and had bad energy from the moment we walked in and deserved the same energy back. This isn’t true because we had an amazing meal prior and were excited to get a salad later and enjoy the rest of the day with our guests. We walked in excited and happy, what bad energy did we give when we walked in? She was annoyed and weird from the get-go. She embarrassed the city to our guests, but thank god there’s so many other great places to eat. We shrugged it off as just a bad place to eat but then we were reminded of the place when we had the dry salad that certainly was not made with love or care.
Though we love to support small business, we Would not recommend this place not even to our worst enemy. Hoping and wishing the owner finds her inner peace and can reflect it on her next interactions. Namaste.
Edit: now looking at the reviews and seeing how our interaction wasn’t a one off, this is how she has treated other customers, with sharp rudeness. We’re not expecting a resolution or apology, just letting others know what to expect when they walk through that door. Better be on your best behaviour and put on your biggest smiles

The food is great, but I’ve gone a few times during their operating hours when a certain employee abruptly dismisses customers and says in a rude manner their closed - put a sour taste in my mouth

Perfect place for a healthy meal. Fresh ingredients, great portions and I believe family run. Cute little spot to sit outside and enjoy. I have had the tofo salad and salmon bowl. Salmon was my fav, but both were delicious

Been here a few times now. The GOAT and Falafel Bliss are my favourites! Very good portions for the price, super fresh ingredients, and friendly service. Very convenient location with some seating space inside if you want to dine in. A great healthy option for the Dundas West area. Great choice!

We went to the place for the first time and asked the lady that was there what drinks they have and she rudely said it’s in the fridge. And after that we ordered a smoothie and asked what kind of sweetness will be there and she was clearly annoyed and said “ingredients are on the board” we politely asked again no we just wanted to know how sweet it’s going to be. She was very annoyed and again said “that’s what I’m saying it’s on the board” and I spoke to my boyfriend in our language to tell him something else and that’s when she looked at me and rolled her eyes clearly annoyed it’s not English we were speaking. Very disappointing to see people treat others like this when we went there to pay and get drinks. Will never be returning because of the rudeness of that lady
Edit:
No I didn’t hear you speak a different language and no we were not condescending nor did we treat you like you’re “lying “ it’s weird to see that’s how you think from a small conversation. He literally wanted to know how sweet it’s going to be and that doesn’t in any way mean “oh we don’t trust this person they’re lying” but seeing how you have responded to other people who’ve had bad experiences with you genuinely says a lot about you. Of course you will make it seem like it’s not your fault as you’ve done with other reviews people put with bad experiences. We know how politely we talked and so so strange you have a mindset to create a whole conversation in your head saying we asked you questions like you lied. Ouch. Didn’t know people aren’t supposed to ask questions to clarify. Ps he wanted to know the sweet level to see if it can be adjusted but oh well. Have a wonderful day!

People are really sleeping on this place! Super nutritious and filling portions. The salmon bowl is my favourite.
I recently had lunch at Greens & Grains and had an exceptional experience. The Glazed Salmon dish was a standout. It featured a perfect combination of kale, brown basmati, glazed roasted salmon, avocado, roasted eggplant, edamame, and toasted sesame seeds, all brought together with a delightful soy-ginger dressing. The flavors were incredibly well-balanced, and each ingredient was fresh and delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was also fantastic, making for a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Highly recommended!

FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Portions are quite big for a VERY affordable price. Will definitely be stopping by again next time I’m in the city!!! ? ❤️ ?
Dietary restrictions: Being celiac can be really tough. However, the staff were very helpful letting me know which dishes were safe for me and happy to make adjustments as a non meat eater too :)
