They don't serve food, just alcohol. They're ok with bringing food, mostly geared to UofT staff and students but they will serve anyone. I drank GSU (the pub's) lager for $5.45 CAD/pint (16oz) it's pretty good and so great in value. Check out the images.
Really nice cheap hangout place. Beautiful quiet patio and no frills drinks. A few different beers on tap, $15 pitchers and other drinks too. No food, but you are allowed to bring your own.
It's not the cheapest or the best, and it's sort of annoyingly loud because of thr acoustics, but it is a pub and you will feel you are amoung grad students, so you can't really complain too much.
