My favourite quick meal in all of Toronto 😍 prices are great, karage chicken is the best I’ve ever had, and owner is super nice! I’m a big fan.

We ordered potato croquette curry rice & sweet soy dango. Both very delicious, especially the dango. The service is pretty good too. Was very surprised to see water being served in a self serve type restaurant in Toronto.

This venue is ideal for those seeking a street food-style dining experience. It is clearly not intended for fine or upscale dining, and the setup reflects that. The space is quite small with very limited seating available.

Unfortunately, during our visit, the air conditioning appeared to be non-functional, which made the experience uncomfortable—especially given that it was a day with an active heat warning. I truly sympathize with the staff who had to work under those conditions and hope management is taking steps to address this issue.

One major concern was the lack of washroom facilities for dine-in customers. To my understanding, providing access to restrooms is a requirement under city and provincial regulations, so this was quite surprising and disappointing.

That said, the food was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. However, as mentioned, this establishment is better suited for those looking for casual, comfort-style meals rather than a formal dining experience.

I have been a customer at this store for many years, but today, despite it being open, my Uber order was cancelled just a few minutes after I placed it. This is highly disrespectful to customers.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and today will be the last time

I noticed that the chicken pieces they give you are now 50% smaller
So if you get a 5 piece chicken on rice, you are really only getting 2.5 pieces. So now you only get half of what you pay for compared to before

Did you really think you could cut the chicken portion in half without your customers noticing? Shame on you

It is very hot inside and no restroom, but chicken is amazing 😍

Food was good. The chicken was nicely fried and takoyaki was tasty. Mochi was good. The seating area was a tad cramped but I think the restaurant is primarily takeout. There were flies flying around that were a tad annoying but overall it was good. Service was great!

One of my favourite street food spots! The classic Gushi is always amazing, and I recently found out they now offer curry sauce at this location—of course I had to try it, and it was delicious! They take their time to make everything fresh, so be patient while they cook your meal to perfection. The customer service was great too—on a hot day, we really appreciated the server offering us a cup of water. There are a few indoor seats with nice decor as well.
