Me and partner came to this restaurant for the first time as we are both fond of having sushis and we had a lot of sushis from different restaurant and we wanted to try here. My expectations were high as we saw the reviews and it was good but after we ordered calamari we were disappointed by seeing the proportion. There were only 6-8 pieces of calamari and the rest were all veggies. Then we ordered the California roll and spicy salmon roll, these were okay then we ordered the lobster roll and we were told that it will be the whole lobster battered and fried but when we gave a bite we couldn’t see any lobster meat inside, it was all batter. The foods were very bad in proportion and taste, didn't expected the experience will be so bad. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Worst sushi restaurant ever.

One of the best restaurants i’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is peaceful and excellent, and the staff are all kind and attentive. The food is on the pricier side, but the portions and presentation make up for it. Everything i’ve tried tastes perfect.

I ordered from Gyoko Sushi via Uber Eats. The food was pretty good - however, I was disappointed that they decided to charge me an additional $5 (nearly 20%) to substitute an avocado roll for a cucumber roll in the vegetarian maki combo set (which was necessary due to me having an avocado allergy, which I indicated in the order). Since when do cucumbers cost more than avocados??? I will not be ordering from here again for that reason.

I visited gyoko sushi few weeks ago midweek and was very happy with my order overall. The soft shell crab was the highlight of my meal (nicely decorated as well). I am not sure if the chef changed but I ordered the same soft shell crab a few months ago and it wasn’t that great but I gave it another try this time. I will be visiting middle of the week from now in hopes for the same chef to make it delicious again. The waitress was pleasant.

It depends. If you are looking for value sushi - this is your spot. The maki rolls are HUGE. You will get full. But if you are looking for sushi or rolls with decent sushi rice or teriyaki and udon with tender meat slices then there are some other excellent local options in the area.

We didn't like the experience. Two different experiences: in a previous visit they served us beef gyoza instead of vegetables. On complaining,waitress apologised and blamed the rush hour. It really spoiled the mood. She did offer to remove the item from bill but we just wanted to pay and leave. After a lot of convincing i accompanied my friend again, and this time the server was rude and didn't even have the courtesy of coming over to the door and letting us know when a table would be vacant. We kept waiting for 20 minutes for someone to come and let us know. After 20 minutes, when i asked her, she said another 20 minutes wait time and sorry that she didnt notice us. Since last year me and my friend had been regular at this place, now i literally dread going back to them.
