Portions are generous without feeling overdone, and the menu offers a nice mix of classic options and specialty rolls. Service is friendly and efficient, making the overall experience smooth and enjoyable. A great spot for a casual sushi night or when you’re craving reliable, well-prepared Japanese flavors.

I visit this place regularly, and the food and customer service are consistently outstanding. Ron and Yan are incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I’ve tried most of the dishes, and every single one has been delicious. I highly recommend coming here for amazing food and excellent service.

It’s one of the only places in Toronto I’ve found where you can get chicken katsu curry for $14. The daily specials are affordable, filling, and delicious. The miso is a little mild though. I’m always the only one in here when I get lunch and I feel like Gyuki needs more love.

I had the pork tonkatsu and the hamburger curry. The curry is excellent, some of the best I've had. The service is friendly and courteous.

Quite possibly the worst cut and quality of salmon in my salmon and uni don. The aburi salmon sushi was also abysmally bad.

Thank you Gyuki for the great dining experience! The server was friendly and the chef even came to the table to serve the food. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry with miso soup for only $13.99 which is quite reasonable (good portion size too). The miso was a bit too mild for my liking but the Chicken Katsu Curry was very delicious. I’ll definitely come again!

A great place for quick and delicious food. The waitress and chef are very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Pork Katsu Curry with Rice. The portions are great and for $13.99 it’s hard to find similar quality for the price. This has already become one of my top go-to restaurants when I’m looking for a quick but good meal.

Why are your handrolls mummified in plastic? I know that's how they do things in Japan, and it's disgustingly wasteful there too.
ALL of your packaging is horribly wasteful. Why are you doing this?!

my favourite sushi spot downtown!! ingredients are great quality for the price and the aburi sushi is the best i’ve had hands down. service is always fast and the workers are amenable to small changes in menu items (swapping/removing ingredients). honestly shocked that i’ve never once seen this place full, i would eat here every day if i could.

I got the rainbow dragon set and the prime beef gyukatsu and they were both good. The beef was surprisingly tender and the sushi came with medium fatty tuna which was a good surprise too. Highly recommend!
