I stopped by this place with my younger brother while passing by.
The food was delicious and good value for money.
It's a shame they don't sell beer.
Tonkatsu is cheap and delicious
The downside is that the place is small, so there are only 3 tables and one Dodge Table that seats about 3 people.

I just tried to get some sushi here but was appalled and had to leave because of how filthy and disgusting the girl handling the food is. Goes to the washroom and comes Straight with no gloves and handles all the food with her hands ontop of that he hair is hanging all over the food...just digsuting you can see the filth in her hands. And when I tried to confront her about it goes on a racist rant...she shouldn't be working anywhere near the food or customers. This is appaling and unacceptable. Not one person stayed because of her disgusting service and racist insults on customers....avoid this place at all costs.

Never order from Uber Eats!!! They make mistake in the order, the quality if really bad and it’s really expensive. They don’t give any compensation nor refund or anything. I guess you’re supposed to eat their rotten avocado sushi’s without complaining…

Ordered the chicken karaage and pork katsu curry. The curry came out really fast and the karaage didn't take that much longer. The Miso soup tasted slightly better than other Miso soups offered by Japanese restaurants but the curry was fantastic. The curry was flavorful and the pork katsu was both crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
The karaage was great as well. The chicken was crispy and super juicy insane.
Overall, a really underrated restaurant

Ordered the katsu don here and it was pretty good! Total came out to be under 20 including tax and tip so decent value for money. If you don't like raw egg then this dish is probably not for you.Service was decent. The waitress was a little busy with all the ubereats orders. Apparently they have really good reviews on ubereats.Atmosphere - there isn't much seating, definitely lunch or grab and go place.

Gyuki is easily the most tasty and affordable restaurant in the area, serving katsu curry on weekday specials for under $15. This includes miso, and they are not stingy with portion sizes either. After a long day walking around with nothing more than a salad to fuel me, this was a delicious way to end my day. Give it a go!! My new favourite restaurant in Toronto.

The sashimi and sushi were both fresh. I can confidently say the food is very fresh and properly made. You know the place is serving fresh ingredients if they have Ika (squid) for sashimi. The karaage was good (crunchy on the outside and soft juicy chicken on the inside). The price is really affordable. Saw someone complained in the review about the salmon dragon set. Really? $24 for 12 aburi (torched) sushi and roll pieces are not cheap enough for so much work and quantity of food? Of course there'd be more veggie than meat in those bites! The uni could have been cheaper though, because other high-end Japanese place charge 2x the price for 5x (or 10x on days with buy 1 get 1) the amount of Uni, and those are even Hokkaido uni. But the uni flavor from this restaurant and the high-en one is indeed not different (maybe the high-end place lied about the uni's Hokkaido origin or has problem with the handling, as Hokkaido uni is supposed to taste sweeter/meatier). However I understand it's costly to keep the fresh inventory for that expensive ingredient in a small restaurant, no no complain about uni price, i could have opted for other if uni cost is my issue. They're ranked pretty high on Uber Eats. Happens to be nearby so I gave it a try this time from Uber Eats pickup and was quite happy. Walked by so many time but the look of the restaurant did not give the impression of something I'd try.It is a cozy homey Japanese food spot, hence the curry. Curry is actually very popular in Japan. The place has limited seats
