the pricing is ridiculous 15.95 for one piece of battered fish and it was mainly batter asked for sweet potatoes fries got regular fries. coffee was awful so strong. my hubbie had 22.00 meal with a grilled fish no bigger than 3×3 and a garden salad mainly Lettuce one piece of tomatoes and 3 pieces of red onion. never going back!!!!

at the markham and kingston road location in Scarborough, The male server was very rude with my family on family day from not allowing us to chose the table we preferred although the restaurant was empty, to rushing us to order, to acting surprised when i asked the dishwasher to get his attention to clarify my order which was placed at the table when i was in the washroom. The fries were very hard and not tasty. For 21$ a meal this is not the service/customer treatment, or quality of food one would hope for or expect. It seemed he was giving an ungrateful attitude for our business. He even said "dont come back if this is how you behave" when i called him out on rushing us to pay, when i let him know i will pay now but not be rushing myself to finish my meal at any point soon. I tipped very miminal, because it actually felt like he didnt deserve a tip at all for his unaccomadating , impatient and impolite attitude..Good luck. I really hope this location does something about the poor customer service skills of this man, because this isnt a new issue. He was rude and unaccomadating last time to even a few years ago, this restaurant wont be able to stay in business very long if they treat all customers in such an ungrateful manner.

Fish is good but always overcooked, maybe 1-2 min shorter cook time. Shrimp is good but you need to clean the poop track first! If I have to pull all the batter off and clean the poop track myself, it's not worth the money.

There are three fish options on site, as well as shrimp and other meats, sandwiches... I found the halibut very tasty and the fries very crispy and hot. The service was very quick and the attendants were very helpful and kind. It seems like a very popular and familiar place.

Went there today last 2 times was good nut today halibut was full of battered under cooked.we told them.how we wanted before placing an order. When complained to server the chef was v rude to herand pointed towards us take the fish back. We ended up taking batter off by ourself. We will try another place.

Spent over $80 for greasy soggy fish. There was no crispiness to the batter whatsoever and the fish inside was sopping with grease. Big giant waste of money.

So I've been coming here off and on and never had any problems. Service was always good, and food was always good. Today I ordered and my fish was soggy and cold. I took a few bites of it and could no longer handle it. I asked the waitress to take it back and knock it off my bill as I didn't want it. She brings the owner who comes over and argues that fish s
is supposed to be soggy. I got tired of arguing with her and, after a while, told her to just cook it more and bring it back. The tabel next to me also had a complaint as they served an elderly lady moldy shrimp. Just like she did to me, she tried to deny there was a problem and argue.

I work in customer service and have worked in the service industry. You DON'T argue when someone has an issue with food. You make it right and either re-cook everything or take it off their tab. I'm really disappointed in this place as I never had an issue until today.
