Used to go to Hana Sushi whenever I was in the neighborhood, but feel like standards have really slipped. Went for lunch, place was quiet and was barely greeted by staff. Food was very, very average, it felt like one of the rolls were a day old. I usually love the sushi here, maybe it was an off day. But there is way better options along Bloor.

I got the salmon sushi and it was excellent melt in your mouth salmon. The Gyoza was also excellent and they have cans of Asohi which is a nice touch.

This was my first time ordering from Hana Sushi, and the Tuna Lover Set exceeded expectations. The tuna was incredibly fresh and flavourful, truly impressive quality for the price. I’ll definitely be ordering it again and highly recommend it to anyone craving great tuna

Neighborhood gem! This place is all about delicious food. Staff are also very nice and attentive.
We had the mango salad, mixed tempura, and the One Hot Night roll. Everything was fresh and made with decent-quality ingredients. The maki had a generous filling without being overwhelmed by rice. We’re definitely coming back. The place is cozy and humble — more of a takeout or delivery spot than a dine-in restaurant.

Always delicious food & very generous with serving. I always order my favorite Chicken teriyaki bento box & it also comes with shrimp & vegetable tempura. Plus salad & miso soup. Serving is huge. Staff is very nice especially Ying.

As a long term customer, I was disappointed in this restaurant's sudden change in prices. For years I was accustomed to receiving my sushi orders with a side of miso soup and their small salad with a complimentary dressing. Last week, on my now final order with Hana Sushi, I was shocked by the fact that my order didn't come with these sides and that they now were charging for them. $2 for their miso soup and $5.00 for their side salad which I think is ludicrous. All this without any notification of these changes to their customers. In these economic times, I think businesses need to be more transparent with their customers about their price changes other wise it just feels like price gouging.
