Genuinely my favourite restaurant in Toronto. Doesn’t kill the bank account, and has delicious food. Family owned place and they are all super friendly. Overall always an amazing experience

The restaurant is easily accessible - located just a short walk away from Bathurst Station under the Rustle and Still Cafe.
Their dining room felt homey, like I was having dinner at someone’s house, which I liked. There’s a decent amount of seating, and service was attentive and welcoming. You can see that they care about what they’re doing and what they’re serving you.
Had the Cheese Dakgalbi and added ramen to it. It’s a pretty filling amount of food. I like a bit of spice with my food, and chose Level 1 to be safe, but this was even spicier than I could have hoped. Just a word of caution for people who can’t take much spice that even Level 1 is something to be careful with. Otherwise, it was filling and tasty.

I had one serving of the Cheese Dakgalbi and it was delicious and filling! The spice level I chose (3) was definitely very spicy, but it paired great with my “Milkis“ drink haha. The service was great, too.

We called ahead at 9pm to ask when their last call was. They answered the phone and said 10:30pm. They close at 11pm. But their last call is at 10:30pm so we decided to go. We get there at 10pm and their lights are already off and they are counting money at the cash and they said they are closed. This was Saturday night last night. The fact that they closed early and had no customers so they decided to close early is all I needed to know. We never tried this place and I’m glad we didn’t. We ended up going to yuppduk across the street and that was delicious. The service at yuppduk across the street was amazing and they are open until 3am.

I ordered the cheese dakgalbi and added ramen and there were only 3 pieces of rice cake and chicken and an exorbitant amount of ramen. I had to throw most of it away.

The food was very good and sides (pickled radish, corn, and glass noodles) were perfect accompaniments to the spiciness of the dish. It wasn't too spicy and very enjoyable and affordable. The servers are very kind. We left satisfied and happy.
