My friend and I were on the road for work. After a long day, we headed back to our hotel, Ode, which is right next door to Hank's. We sidled up to the bar and took a seat. This may not be the perfect bar, but it's damn close. The drinks were cold and delicious, the conversation was great, and the bartender was helpful and kind. If you find yourself in Little Portugal, head to Hank's, you won't be disappointed. Buyer beware, CASH ONLY!

I think a lot of people forget that bartenders are people too, and what most of these 1-star leaving girlies are leaving out is how terrible they were to the staff. But like, go off about the 'rude' bartender that you were hostile towards to begin with, Stacy.
Umm, anyway, it's a chill place. It's dark and cozy which is a slice of heaven for me.

Our group came in the night of January 29th, around 11pm, initially enjoyed the atmosphere, left after an hour the bartender was extremely rude. Would NOT get a drink there again, genuinely disappointed with the service. Unfortunate.

It's a dive bar. The bartender was friendly. Don't go here if you hope to have a fruity sweet drink, you'll be disappointed. If you want a classic highball or a cider or a beer and don't mind the darkness, cramped bathrooms and general dive bar vibe then this is the place to be!

Zaid the bartender was very nice and friendly. He gave us excellent service and if we were local this would definitely be a place we would go to often. We had a great time. The punk thrash atmosphere with the customers who are not there makes a very interesting and unusual mix. The customers were also all kind to us who came from far away. Very good bar.
