Amazing snack bar! Chicken karaage and creative cocktails for the win!
I’ve been here twice, and everything I’ve tried has been fantastic. The Dyno Wings, Moto Bun, Okra, Salmon Aburi, Moto Eggs, and the Katsu bun are all must-tries. Not only is the food delicious, but it also comes out quickly. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

The best izakaya/bar I have ever been to! The atmosphere is fantastic, and thanks to the heater next to our table, we were able to enjoy our time comfortably without feeling cold. The portions were quite generous, so we were happily stuffed, but the food was so delicious that it was almost a shame to get full!
I also had the Miso Ice Cream (forgot to take a picture!). I'm generally not a huge dessert person, but this ice cream had a delicious savory flavor that made me keep eating it! Every single dish was superb. I even ordered the Egg Moto twice! I'll definitely be back soon to try all the other menu items. The sake was excellent as well! The service was perfect, too.

Incredible food, even better service, and the ambiance and atmosphere was stellar. Pork bun was to die for. Angelina was extremely attentive and thoughtful as a server. Hope to come back.

I stopped in here randomly on a winter night to have a drink and warm up, and the nicest server greeted me and made me feel super welcomed. I had accidentally stepped into a gem, their food and service was so great I called a couple friends to join in that night!

My boyfriend and I enjoy Japanese pub/bar cuisine and decided to check out this place considering it had 4.7 ratings out of 5 for some strange reason. We were asked to wait for over an hour despite them telling us that it would only take 45min, once we got in, the food was mids for what they charged, the food wasn’t shareable for one and the quality wasn’t special by any means. The karage was bland and so was the Okra. If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese izakaya experience honestly save the money and go to a better spot like Kinka/Goo izakaya which has better ambiance and service not to mention way better tasting food. For what it’s worth the drinks were reasonably cheap but that’s about it

This spot serves incredible Japanese street-food-style dishes. The menu is small but perfectly curated — and the portions are just right for sharing, so if you come with a group, you can practically taste the whole menu.
It’s a tiny space with limited seating and no reservations, so you’ll need to join the waitlist. We waited two hours, but it was absolutely worth it. The moto eggs and dumpling-stuffed chicken wings were fire! I’d definitely come back.

First time coming to this hidden gem of Dundas west. Place was dimley lit, but still kinda bright. Loved the industrial street vibe feel. Theres no reservations but we got a table. The servers and bartendera are amazing. Tbey recommended most of our cocktails. Ordered the wings and steak. Came out quick. Food was amazing. Will come again for more of the menu and drinks.

I’ve been here before but came back and it was much better than I remembered! The food was absolutely delicious. I’m not usually a fan of okra but the flavouring of the okra was SO tasty. The emoki mushrooms were incredibly soft. We also got the hand roll and it was so delicious and presented in such a unique way in the little cans. I also just loved how big the portions were it was incredibly filling. We also got the salmon aburi and the moto eggs. The prices were very reasonable and we walked out FULL. The vibe is very small and cozy.

Great spot for Japanese bar food with an elevated twist. My particular favourite was the surf and turf handroll and moto eggs, but everything was delicious! That said, the portion sizes weren’t the biggest for the price point (it might be slightly pricier than you expect).
Staff was friendly and educated us on how to eat every dish. Food was served decently quickly. Cool vibes! Would come back.

Small hole in the wall restaurant but makes up for it with the quality of food. The dishes are fairly sized, I would recommend sharing all the food. Good rich flavours, I recommend the miso steak.
