Our tamago sando is filled with rich flavour egg salad between two Japanese milk breads. Our egg salad is made with soft boiled eggs and Japanese mayonnaise to offer you an unique flavour. We had such a great experience at Hattendo on Baldwin Street! This cute little café totally gave us those cozy Japan vibes from the decor to the little details. Everything felt thoughtfully designed.

We got to try their limited edition Sakura Bun and the Matcha Sakura Cake, and both were absolutely delicious, light, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Such a treat!

They even had the traditional Japanese omikuji fortune experience (you shake...

The egg salad sandwich is as close as you're going to get in Toronto to the real thing from Japan. It's so good! They're so fluffy and soft. I love the addition of the egg in the middle.

I also really enjoy the cream buns. My fave is the milk cream, but I like them all. The bread is sweet, and the filling is generous.

Please open a location somewhere between here and Mississauga on the west side. I'd be so happy!

A clean and cozy Japanese style bakery shop. We ordered couples of different bun, I had the cream bun that’s was very delicious, not too sweet and it’s very soft and well chilled. There are two wooden bench right outside the shop and can sit to enjoy the afternoon.
