Since I lost my father, I'd lost my last connection to Ukraine. I strongly believe that food is one of the greatest ways to connect to a culture, and Heavenly Pierogy give me back something if I thought I had lost. Eating food in a church basement made me feel closer to my family than I have in a long time. I was greatly appreciative.

A great place for Ukrainian food!
The borsht is really nice and the cabbage wraps are fantastic!
The sweet perogies at the end helped close the deal.

Not only is the food delicious, but Tetyana went above and beyond by helping me with details for Christmas Eve catering. A very kind soul.

I've been wanting to come here for the longest time, but I thought it would make me sad. Since losing my father, I've lost my last connection to my heritage, but visiting here today honestly made me feel a little like I was at my Baba's house as a kid. I don't leave a lot of reviews for places, but I have to for Heavenly Pierogi. I've always believed food is the best way to connect to a culture, and eating there today gave me back something I thought I had lost.

It's inside the church basement which was very interestingšŸ˜‚ not too busy, the food is good. But don't trust the price on the Google photos, go to their website to see the current price, because it's a lot higher.

This was my first time visiting, and I was pleasantly surprised! I stumbled upon it while searching ā€œfood near meā€ on Google Maps—had no idea it was located inside a church, which made for a cool setting. I ordered the beef meatballs, perogies, and coleslaw for $18.69 + tax. The portions were generous and satisfying. Highly recommended to give them a visit and try their food!

Heard a great review from TikTok about the food here, but we were quite disappointed in our dining experience.

In short, the service was slow, food was overpriced, the portions were small, and food was not hot or fresh.

Considering that there were no customers inside (we arrived at 4 pm) it took at least 20 minutes for our food to arrive. My partner stated that the food we received had been from the take-out frozen menu, and that it took time to defrost. There was no smell of schnitzel or food cooking from the kitchen.

The schnitzel was thin and small (not crispy) on a tiny hamburger bun. For the price of the sandwich, I was expecting a hearty one like the one pictured on their menu, but that was not the case. I really felt shortchanged on this item.

The two meat cabbage rolls I had were good-sized portions, but it tasted mostly of filler with little meat. It tasted like warmed up food that was microwaved.

The only thing I enjoyed were the perogies, but it was luke warm. I ordered 12 of them and did not even get enough sour cream.

I like to support local businesses, and was looking forward to dining here, but was fairly disappointed. Perhaps, we should have came during dinner time to be served fresh food.

I am willing to come again only during dinner time with enough customers to be served fresh food.

Today we ordered two portions of potato perogies and some pelmeni.
While the pelmeni were still okay, the perogies were terrible.
They just reheated old perogies that were already hard and dry.
I don’t recommend getting food from there.
