And I’ve got to shout out the cabbage chicken slaw with fish chips—it’s hands down the best thing I’ve eaten all year! Seriously, do yourself a favor and get it. This spot nails it on all fronts, from bold flavors to great prices. I’ll be back (probably way too often)!

Truly exceptional dining experience.
We were lucky to go at a time where the restaurant was mostly empty so it was very calm.
Let's start with the food: it is delicious. From their starters all the way through to desserts. Their summer rolls, pho (beef), and weekend special udon, and their affogato were all divine.
What really elevated this experience was the way the staff received us and ensured they explained all the options available to us and what they would recommend along with some interesting history about the dish. Service was very fast and delivered with a smile. Tyler was our server and he really had us excited to come back.
The ambiance was cute, nice music and quaint. Bathrooms are very clean!!
Can't wait to be back.

This place is amazing, fresh and top quality ingredients. We did a large catering order for our office and the food was more than exceptional. We had so many staff comment on how impressed and beautifully packaged and how fresh everything was. Service was over the top. They took the time to package everything and were so caring. Love love love
So nice to have Hem Social in the neighborhood. Have never had a bad experience coming in here. The servers are super welcoming and kind. I love how the dishes have fresh and flavourful ingredients + how they rotate in a special dish every week so the menu never gets old. Highly recommend the steamed wontons, goi dishes, and trying the specials. They never disappoint. Also the space is super clean + aesthetic. Would recommend you to give it a try!

Food was very good. I had tofu and mushroom vermicelli. Veggies were fresh and chopped nicely. Service was great and place was lovely. Mushrooms were very good. Tofu was kind of meh, would have better as soft. Noodles were not ample, and they were kind of not quite the best consistency. Overall nice, but not filling enough.
