Work often brings me to Toronto’s DoubleTree, and over time I’ve gotten to know Hemispheres mixology-master Raffi. Always warm and welcoming, he makes every stay that much more enjoyable.

Raffi has a knack for creating cocktails that surprise and delight. Letting him choose is new fun adventure—I’ve tried drinks I never would have ordered myself, each perfectly paired with my meal.
And speaking of meals, the food is outstanding. Do yourself a favour and try the lamb shank!
Raffi truly makes time away from my family feel a little more like home. Thank you, Raffi and Hemispheres.

Food was passable. Burger pattie was a bit too cooked, fries too salty. And it took a lot of time to get it served considering it was not a busy servoce. Service was uneven. Sometimes correct, other cold, depending on the employee.

Had breakfast there and while the breakfast selection was a little small it was very good and contained all you needed really. I didn't skip anything. Also, great service staff who were very helpful and attentive.

If you order a steak, I would recommend getting it a level less rare than you would normally get (or use descriptive words). I ordered a medium rare and it felt closer to medium/medium well. The food was adequate, but I feel was overpriced for what I got (it is a hotel restaurant so that is to be expected). The bartender wad great though. Friendly, great service. I wish I remembered his name, as he was excellent and deserves a shout out.

Breakfast Buffet - had the pleasure of being taken care of by Juned, each meal, whom provided excellent service and was very attentive for every meal. He displayed a sense of care and comfortability during my stay. Highly recommend seeking him out if you stay at the hotel.

Food was tasty. Main meal arrived whilst still eating the starter, so not good. Was unhappy with the sharing platter, which was sold as any three of the items in the section, however all the items were reduced in quantity by 30%, so untrue, and maybe a trade description issue.

Don’t go near the wings . They must be 6 months old. I asked why they were white in color and the waiter seemed to think they were ok even with the unexplained green and black and grey spots on them. And what’s with the flies . Lifetime diamond member staying here , expected much better .

One of the best kept secrets in Toronto.
Spacious and it's possible to have a conversation. Great staff. Food can vary between 3.5 stars to 5, depending on the dish. Their soups are always great. Salads need a bit of inspiration. Dessert menu need revision. Overall I give Hemisphere's 4.5 stars.
