We love staying at this hotel as the hotel staff and rooms are excellent but the food at Hemispheres is disappointing to say the least. I have stayed several times and each time I am so disappointed with the quality of the breakfasts. I have tried the breakfast buffet on a few occasions and then tried the a la carte menu and the blueberry pancakes were stodgy and tasteless. My husband ordered poached eggs and got easy over eggs. This time I tried the continental buffet and fruit choices were slim ( 3 melons, pineapple and whole apples) and miniature pastries were less than grocery store quality and only one muffin choice that I didn’t try. For 24.00 I felt it was way over priced. For the first time I ate supper here as well, unfortunately they don’t open the dining room, you can only get dinner in the bar. We ordered a Margherita pizza which had literally 2 slices of tomato cut in half and a small few slivers of basil with a premade pizza sauce and cheap mozzarella. The fish tacos were soggy and cilantro and onion forward. The chicken wings were ok. I won’t return to Hemispheres and will find somewhere else to eat in the vicinity. We even discussed finding a new place to stay that offers decent food that matches the accommodations.

We had supper at Hemisphere. The waiter was a good salesman. The calamaris were excellent as he suggested but the 8oz new york AAA centre cut was a thin overdone steak and the fries were not homemade as the waiter promised. The good pinot wine compensated our disappointing meal.

Vegetarian options: They are on the menu.

Kid-friendliness: Diner atmosphere with a bar...no white tablecloths...nothing chic. Convenient for a drink and a quick bite and is adjacent to the hotel.

Wheelchair accessibility: Adjacent to hotel.

It’s got a great atmosphere being convenient at the hotel. The service was swift and excellent.

The food however was a bit expensive. I also found that the burger had too much grease since the bottom of the bun became liquid while eating so I was basically just holding the patty. The fries were okay. I was starving so I enjoyed it but did find the bun situation rough to deal with.

The drinks are quite expensive.

It's really nice and relaxing, we went for dessert even though we live in Toronto, and it's nice to eat at a hotel to feel like you're on vacation.

Convenient while staying at Double tree, but what a terrible customer service at this hotel. Food is good, but not worth the price. Caesar salad was pre-mixed since couple hours at least, wilted lettuce wasn't that appetizing. The steak plate could step up a bit

Excellent service. We came in with our 10 month old and the staff were lovely and so attentive to her. Everyone was extremely friendly and we had a great meal on a snowy day!

I am writing a review as I dine. The service was horrible. The waiter didn't bring me any water UNTIL my food came! I kept asking for water since I had to take one of my meds on an empty stomach. Food was just ok. I won't be back ! I will venture out the hotel to eat for the remainder of my stay. Waiter didn't check on me once.UPDATE: I had no choice but to order from the bar in the evening. That was good , ordered twice and waitstaff that brought my food to my room was nice

Very good breakfast. Good size proportion. I had their omelette. Very good coffee. At over thirty dollars, I thought it was a very expensive breakfast though.

The restaurant is a real convenience if you are staying in the hotel and do not want to go out to eat. The staff are really helpful and accommodating and the food is good as well!
