Came in mid afternoon on a weekday. Quiet, single staff member present. Pleasant and friendly. Working as cook and front staff, but was not a problem whatsoever. Food was higher quality than the big chains, smoothies was a winner with the kids. Price was certainly reasonable.

Do not go to the Hero burger at Yonge and King - I ordered a burger and poutine and it came out 40 minutes later. I even came early so that I could beat the lunch crowd. I didn’t even get a chance to eat. I had to grab my food and rush out to get back to work on time. It literally took more than half of my lunch hour to make and serve what is supposed to be “fast” food.
This isn’t the first time this happened at this location.
So many people were upset and quite a few came to order but then just walked back out.
Go to another Hero burger location!

First off, I'm not sure any of this was anyone's fault, per se, just relating my experience. Was there about 6:30pm on a Monday. The restaurant was empty. Seemed to be only one person working and I had to ring a bell to summon her from the back. She wasn't rude, but didn't do anything to make me feel like I was welcome there. It was just.... indifferent. There was no air conditioning inside, so I waited for my order outside on the sidewalk because it was crazy hot inside. I ordered an 8oz burger, poutine and strawberry smoothie. The poutine was way way salty. The burger meat seemed like maybe it was a tofu burger or something? The patties had that off texture. I didn't finish the burger or poutine. I wouldn't return to this chain.

I came here after work, felt like walking into a sauna. IT WAS SO HOT in here. a lot of people were complaining! the Manager had told me that their AC broke down, and has asked for it to get replaced but it’s been months and he’s still waiting. i feel so bad for him and the workers bc, they’re working in a kitchen all hours of the day without any compensation or hospitality. a new AC needs to be replaced ASAP.

Extremely slow service. Counter often unmanned for 5+ minutes. Food good and staff friendly (when the counter is manned) but food takes WAY too long. Don’t recommend if you’re in a hurry, hungry or on lunch hour from work.
If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. I ordered food through SkipTheDishes and the driver decided to input that he dropped off my food, which in fact he did not!!! Talking to the manager was a joke! I couldn’t even explain myself without her talking over me (great customer service) I was told to wait for tomorrow to reorder, I thought she was joking but she was serious. I will NEVER order from Hero Burger or use SkipTheDishes again… Oh I called the driver who texted saying he was 2 minutes away and he never answered my calls just kept going to VM then on my 4th call he declined the call.
