Our chef Arman (sp?) was amazing and provided great service. Lighting a bit too dark for family.

Had a great time there for a birthday party. Fun entertainment and the steak was delicious! The price was reasonable too considering the serving size and food.

Everything was going good until I tasted my drink. I’m pregnant and ordered a nonalcoholic drink, I asked the server twice if those specific drinks were alcohol free, she responded yes. I was halfway through with my food when I decided to take a sip at my Shirley temple that I ordered (that supposed to be nonalcoholic), I didn’t feel it at the first sip but after the second, I knew for sure there was alcohol in there. I asked the server if there was alcohol in the drink she said no, I asked her again, that’s when she decided to go check with the bartender, I guess they realized there was indeed alcohol in the drink, she never returned, instead sent me a new drink by a different server stating this one doesn’t have alcohol. I replied that I don’t care for a new drink, I just wanna know if the last one had alcohol, she replied let her find out for me. They were doing back and forth not knowing how to admit my drink had alcohol in it. The bartender finally came over to say sorry and that indeed my drink had alcohol… My night did not end in a pleasant note and now I’m here wondering what will happen, I have to spend the rest of my pregnancy wondering if the alcohol has affected my baby brain or the liver… It was not a pleasant evening and regret going there. Very unprofessional of them to make my drink with alcohol when I specifically asked for a nonalcoholic drink and I was OBVIOUSLY pregnant.

Very entertaining! Steak was cooked perfectly, scallops were amazing, chicken and veggies were delicious. Had to catch the broccoli, the men in our group were great at it, mine ended up on the floor, seems I need practice. I got sushi, was good for the price, not amazing. Chef was so entertaining and drinks were reasonably priced.

The service was great and the food really enjoyable. Our chef was entertaining. It wasn't cheap, but it was what I expected. My only issue is that it's not free refills on soda.

Been here three times — that’s two times too many. The “specials” are just bait for frozen, premade garbage. Even when I gave the food a fair shot, it was embarrassing.
Then they charged me $600 for a $140 bill and blamed it on a “machine issue” like it was no big deal. No apology, no accountability.
This place is a scam, not a restaurant . Don’t waste your time or your card limit.

I’ve been to many teppanyaki and hibachi restaurants over the years, and Hibachi on Wellington truly stands out. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. We went for dinner with family visiting from out of town, including two children, and everyone had a great time.
Our chef was fantastic—engaging and entertaining with the perfect level of interaction. Not too much, not too little, just the right balance to keep everyone involved and having fun throughout the meal. The kids were completely engaged (without their phones!), which made the experience even better.
It’s definitely a lively and loud spot—not for quiet dining, but perfect if you want a fun, interactive, and memorable night out. My only compalint was the back of the restaurant where we were seated was much warmer than the front of the restaurant. We left immediately after dinner because we were uncomfortably warm.
Highly recommended for families and groups looking for great food and a show!

Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered some take out that was promptly done.
Food was very good. Only thing I was t crazy about was their soya sauce for the sushi. Way too salty to my taste.
The chef’s plate was very good otherwise.

I don’t recommend this restaurant.
The chef’s show is good, but the flavor and quality of the dishes are very simple, in addition to that in my case despite the fact that everything I ordered was in the order they forgot to cook one of the proteins I ordered and when they passed it to me all on my table they had already finished and the rest of my plate was cold 😅
