Would like to come back more often the desserts are so interesting and delicious. I had a Creme Brulee Almond Tart and it was really good same with the Caramel Carmelo Latte it was a good amount of sweetness to it.

I love hitotoki’s pastries so much, but the service I experienced was really disappointing. A while ago I ordered an iced americano and the staff gave me a hot americano - I assumed it was miscommunication and told them I actually wanted it iced, and I was more than willing to pay any extra if required for this change! Instead, the worker just silently turned around and dumped the hot americano over a cup full of ice, obviously losing majority of the drink in the sink which resulted in a super diluted drink.
I’ve worked as a barista myself and this is never the solution, everyone should know that pouring a full hot drink into a cup of ice doesn’t make it into the same iced drink :(
If they had told me I had to pay extra or that they were not allowed to change it for me, I would’ve accepted that! This just seemed like they were too lazy to make me a new drink and decided to ruin it, which is the unacceptable part.
I hope Hitotoki can work a little more on improving their service because I love their pastries so much!!

This bakery is right near buzzing downtown and it’s a small place with almost limited to none sitting options. But when it comes to sweet options it’s so extensive and all the baked goods are exceptional. The quality for each ingredients is high and the taste is really good. We bought a lot of items so I don’t remember all the names but would definitely visit again.

A cute little japanese bakery. Very little seating area, so it's best for take away purchases. Shared a loaf and some tarts with relatives and it was all very tasty. Only comment was the tart crusts were a tad thick. We tried the taro mochi loaf and that one was really, really good. I also tried their strawberry matcha latte, which was also a hit.

I ordered the chestnut coffee and it was really disappointing…no chestnut flavor at all, and the milk foam on top was completely tasteless. The bread was okay, but the service was terrible. I had to repeat my order three times before they understood, and the staff seemed impatient. Overall, not a pleasant experience.
