The pancakes are good but also you got the chance to find hair inside it. Definitely not mine as half of the hair still in the pancake….

Really like this bakery for their walnut cakes. Comes in three flavours (red bean, walnut and almond) and all are fantastic. Staff is very welcoming and kind.

My mom used to bring me here when I was about 5 years old and I loved their walnut cakes.. I'm 34 now and I still love their walnut cakes! I could honestly eat about 10 in one sitting lol! Sadly I don't live in the area, but when I'm around, I make sure to always go to Hodo Kwaja. I highly recommend this place! Absolutely delicious and the service is so fast and friendly!
What a great experience! A cute and lively older couple are the cooks, while a younger woman takes the orders. The service was awesome!! She was attentive and sweet. The pancakes were so delicious.

Got the walnut cakes, they're pretty good and homely! I got them cold but it was also nighttime and they still tasted decent and would probably taste even better warmed up. I'm gonna have them with some tea later!

This is my go to place for whenever I am in the area! I always get the brown sugar hotteok which you cannot go wrong with!I usually buy a couple at once and freeze them when I get home. They taste amazing after reheated in a pan as if I’m given a fresh one from the store!Their hodo kwaja is also pretty great and really liked the mashed potato filling in them! Next time I’d like to try the chun byung & madeleine!

Been a longtime customer. Red bean mochi shaved ice is my favourite. Walnut cakes and pancakes always a welcome snack!
