Great service and yummy ramen! Came here with my family, I got the shoyu ramen and it was very tasty, the servers were very nice and the food arrived very quickly too! The shoyu had a nice chewy noodle taste and soup was pretty good. One thing I recommend is adding char siu pork which would’ve made the perfect dish. Seating is somewhat limited so it is recommend to reserve a spot.

Located near Dundas and Church, Santouka has great service and delicious ramen! The staff and food has been consistent. Service is still great from day one and they take cash or credit as well! They only take customers in as per the first come first serve/line up. Due to their limited waiting area space, the line up does go outside sometimes.

Food wise, delicious and reminds us of ramen that we've had in Japan. We have had the Salmon Roe Rice Combo w/ Miso Ramen - the Salmon Roe just melts and the Ramen was just right. Not hard and taste wise of the soup was great! You can also order yours with less salt if needed. We have also ordered the Shio Ramen with extra Chasiu as well which hits the spot.

Space wise, a lot of room versus other Ramen Restaurants to fit more customers. Service wise, fast, speedy and service people are very attentive. One of the customers near us had a lot of items that they brought in and they gave her a basket for her stuff as well. They accept credit cards and will bring over a mobile device to process the bill.

Note: even during the pandemic, they had a good system of plastic walls that they can rearrange for customers for protocol.

We had the black garlic and kara miso ramen. Both were delicious and had great depth in favour. I got a seasoned egg on the side since the kara miso doesn’t come with one.

One of the only places in Toronto that we can get authentic Japanese food and culture. Staff greeted us nicely and food was delicious as well. My go to place from next time onwards if I am visiting Toronto

This ramen joint was fairly authentic as it was ran by an entirely Japanese staff, who were welcoming and efficient. I ordered the tsukemen, dipping ramen, with less fat and although it was quite tasty, the broth was a little too water-downed to be dipped into. I wonder if it's because I asked for less lard. The noodles were just a bit too al dente for me as well and needed some extra chewing. Overall, pretty tasty for when I'm craving ramen but won't be my go-to.

Fav tonkotsu broth ramen in Toronto. Got the cha siu shio ramen. Their broth is so rich and satisfying. Recommend trying their toriniku shio. Pork jowl is so tender.

Absolutely delicious. I just wish they had an extra noodle option, even for large bowls.

Ramen soup and noodle as they should be, just like the one in Asahikawa, Hokkaido store. Thank you for opening one in Toronto :)

I’ve heard a lot about this place over the years and many people have told me that it’s their favourite place for ramen, so I decided to come take a visit for lunch.
I’ve heard that their original (and perhaps the most popular) dish is the Tokusen Toroniku Ramen, which is ramen and pork jowl, but I was in the mood for some chilled tsukemen (soy sauce flavour).

I didn’t like this dish. Firstly, there was so much MSG in the soup that I ended up drinking 4 glasses of water. Secondly, the pork smell was bad rather than aromatic; it made me glad that I didn’t order the pork jowl ramen. There also weren’t many meat / fat pieces in the soup, and the bowl was quite pricey. The cold ramen also made the dipping soup cold very quickly. Perhaps this issue is something rather recent, because the many of reviews I read on Google around the same month I went had the same complaints as me. Either way, I hope they improve.

I find this restaurant makes excellent Ramen soup. I loved my dinner and the wonderful service. I was in town for 2 nights, but I made a point to dine here. The flavor profile of the broth is complex, rich, delicious, and healing. My sore throat got better after I ate! I will make my way there again one day. It's a small restaurant that puts out amazing food, I highly recommend it!
