Lovely lunch during the busy holiday shopping season. The Chicken BLT salad is fabulous and a very generous size. My husband had the fried cod sandwich on a brioche bun with salad, also delicious. Avoid the tuna poke bowl as it's albacore and not ahi tuna and was fishy tasting on our last visit. Recommended spot!

Food was average. We were told upon arrival (not ahead of time) that we needed to leave by 3 pm. This was our annual family lunch and we were rushed out the door. Very very disappointing. Expected more class from Holt Renfrew.

The quality of the food served for the afternoon tea was horrid. Definitely not worth the price. Also, the server almost touched our food on several occasions while trying to “ point” to the different menu items in an attempt to explain to us what was being served. Overall, I wish he just hadn't even done it. Service was also very slow, and it was extremely loud in there to the point where I had to yell to be able to have a conversation with my mother sitting across the table for me. 

Usually love everything I order here, but this time it was really disappointing. The side chicken was barely cooked and extremely bland.

I have been going to the Holt's Cafe for over 20 years for every special occasion with my family. It's just a notch above all the other restaurants, i love it. i just wish they were open to 7 or 8 pm!

From the time you are greeted to when you leave, the service was excellent. This place never fails to be outstanding. This is the go to place for myself and my circle of friends when you are in need of a little understated chic.

We came specifically for the Dyptique afternoon tea experience. Our server, Denys, was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, attentive, and professional. The afternoon tea experience was unique with the offerings - there were many flavour profiles throughout each layer of the tower. We took the time to really enjoy each crafted delicacy. Although a bit pricey, we felt the experience was worth it with the great service we received and the unique bites. I just wish there was more dyptique elements incorporated, such as explaining how the experience relates to the brand, or a scent experience alongside such as having a dyptique candle lit on the table while dining would have been great.

We love coming here and normally it's our first choice for special occasions. Two of us ordered the tuna Niçoise salad, which we have ordered many times before. The tuna was albacore and a new addition apparently and was grey and unappetizing and very fishy. The salad had anchovies which were not in it prior. Unfortunately a very disappointing lunch. My daughter ate my salad because she didn't want to finish the tuna. Normally it is so good.

Not sure for the mixed reviews. We just had a quick snack while shopping. Enjoyed the experience.

We come here at least once a month. We brought a a special person with us to show the place but it felt short. We were sat in the seperate room and we were forgotten. Main room was serving afternoon and seemed it was main focus. Our coffee was forgotten until flag down. Steak was cold, truffle fries cold. Took 20min to clear our dishes and then we had to flag down for 10-15min for a bill. Not what you expect from caliber of restaurant.

Our server Mia was wonderful. Very attentive and accommodating. She is the best. Try to sit in her section. She made our experience and lunch a real pleasure.

My daughter and I throughly enjoyed our High Tea. Absolutely everything was delicious. I would highly recommend if you love High Tea.

Our meals were great but fries were not crispy if that is what you prefer. Service is great too. We had time constraints and our needs were accommodated.

Great lunch. Wait staff very professional. Restaurant was very busy hence there was a longer than usual wait for the food.
