We had the clam chowder, scallops, fish sandwich and crab cake. They were all so good but the scallops were a standout. Staff was friendly. We drive 40 mins to try this place and it was worth it.

Honest Weight is a quaint little restaurant, with a clean, calm interior and fresh scent.
Our server, Rojda, was amazing! She took the time to answer questions, and explain small details that only a foodie would ask. My partner asked for an alteration to the dish they selected, and Rojda took the time to ask the chef if they could be accommodated. The chef was kind enough to do so.
The food was amazing. I would happily drive across the city of Toronto again to eat here. My Loaded Latka was delectable. The latka itself was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. It was topped with a poached egg and accompanied by sour cream, roe and salad. The roe was fresh and burst with delightful flavour. The egg on top of the latka was poached to my specifications, and the saffron coloured yolk glistened as it tumbled over the elements on my plate. Even the side salad was delightfully bright and topped with a delicious vinaigrette.
My partner's Steamed Mussels were also a hit. The mussels were fresh and the sauce ambrosial. The sourdough bread was slightly tangy and toothy. A delight to bite into.
Every element of the experience was perfect. I cannot recommend Honest Weight high enough.

Low quality food , extremely overpriced! Mussels steamed no flavour at all! Scallops were ok but only 3 small scallops on the plate…. Kind of French gourmet without the French quality! That’s the kind of place that I go one time and one time only!

I love this place. Casual yet attentive service, wonderful food to dine in or take out. I've ordered oysters a few times now to have for an event or at home and they're always so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

Outrageously bad food for even more outrageous prices. Our scallops were rubbery, the whole fish was dry, and the okonomiyaki was totally soggy at the bottom and inedible. Server was sweet but clearly a restaurant made for people with too much money and no palate.
This place is close to work so we've been here a couple of times. Their lunch menu is pretty small but some good items. The price is a bit high so I wouldn't go here too often but it's decent otherwise.

Sat up at the front with my partner last time we went. Company was covering our dinner so we splurged and tried a little bit of everything. The oyster spread was so good. The chowder and scallops are absolutely worth trying.
