Hooked is one of the many reasons why I love the Danforth! The folks who run it are friendly, knowledgable and sincerely want to make sure you have a great experience there. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Our go to seafood in the hood. Excellent quality of food and friendly service by Laura and Sean. They also have some pre prepared items such as fish pies, crab cakes and a variety of soups and condiments.

Fish is always fresh and lasts, not like the stuff you'd buy from any grocery store.

Great quality fish here! Super kind and friendly staff, they saw me coming with my stroller and opened the door for me. I got salmon and fish sticks, gave me some great cooking tips too! Definitely coming back.

(Review is for lunch takeaway not the shop) Fried fish and shrimp po'boy were each great. Delicious, not greasy, and quality ingredients. (Blackbird baguette for the sandwich, yum.) Fries were super soggy/greasy though, like the fryer wasn't hot enough. But you're there for the fish anyway, and that's stellar.

I was really happy to receive some useful suggestions and advice when the fish I came in for wasn't in stock. After seeing the selection and experiencing super helpful service, I wish I'd have come here sooner.
