The owners are the greatest people and the in house chef makes the best hooked brand products! They are “teamwork makes the dream work” 10/10 would recommend.

My go-to place for fresh ahi tuna! Staff is so helpful and friendly. Their knowledge of their products are fantastic! We use the ahi tuna for poke bowls, seared ahi tuna sandwiches and my creation for our business is ahi tuna poke rolls with spicy mayo. Big hit for our get togethers.

Ordered the double smoked steelhead Salmon, citrus smoked spring Salmon and smoked mackerel. The double smoked Salmon has a delicate texture and intense smoky flavour while the citrus cold smoked salmon has a subtle profile. Both were Served with whipped cream cheese and chives on a bagel with kumato tomatoes. Excellent pairing. Haven't tried the mackerel yet and will update soon.

I had an awful experience here and will never come back. I walked in with my puppy when the store was empty — the woman working clearly saw us enter and said nothing. She helped me pick out salmon, and as I went up to pay, and only then, after another customer walked in, I was suddenly told in a rude and dismissive way that dogs are not allowed due to health code rules and that I needed to leave immediately. This was shocking and humiliating. If dogs truly aren’t allowed, why was nothing said when I first came in? Why wait until another customer was present to abruptly kick me out? There’s also no sign at the entrance stating “service dogs only.” As a person of color, the way this was handled felt discriminatory and completely unacceptable. No one deserves to be treated this way.

Dropped in yesterday to browse. Customer service was outstanding. I left with a container of smoked salmon spread for $14. It is sooooo delicious just as the clerk promised. Definitely going back. I want to try the clam chowder, salmon burgers and more.
