Best Sourdough personally for me(and the family agrees) compared to some of the other bakeries around. I usually get the Miche sliced. They do run out as expected if you end up going later in the day.
Good reduced items as well if you get there early enough. Staff is friendly!

We live nearby so we've been here many times. However the service and care that Nora gave us yesterday inspired me to finally leave a review. So thank you Nora🙏
I also have a huge request- could you please make your poppyseed-lemon cake more often. IMHO, it's your best cake, especially for price-taste ratio.

Not really designed for eat-in it's a pleasant little shop on Roncesvalles. There are only half a dozen stools along a wall. The staff was super friendly. There were no pies by the slice when we were there so we had a couple of tarts. The mincemeat was excellent, the sour cherry tasty and moist. In both cases the crust was just a little underbaked. Unfortunately they don't have any oven to heat the pies. Microwave is a no-no so the tarts were cool. Minus a point for that. I can't comment on coffee but they had a good selection of teas. The store was neat and clean in a nice section of Roncesvalles.

Ordered a vanilla buttercream birthday cake for my nephew’s birthday dinner. Yummy and perfectly appreciate for a teenager, perhaps not for a more sophisticated event or palate, but I can’t help going back for leftovers the day after. Well priced for a custom cake with inscription on top. Would order again.

My pregnant girlfriend who is 34 weeks pregnant needed to use the rest room and the staff mentioned she couldn't use the washroom unless she buys something. How disgusting!
Will never support ANY HOT OVEN BAKERY. @Boycott

This bakery has a decent selection of baked goods. I ordered a chicken pot pie that had a tasty filling, but some of the top pie crust had areas of incomplete pie crust cooking. ($5.35) Maybe reheating in the microwave should have been the oven instead. The staff was helpful and offered to reheat the pie. This is a reasonable price, and I will try them another time.

Splendid bakery. There fresh breads do all the heavy lifting and the sweet treats bring that something extra

It’s so lame that they STILL don’t allow people to sit and enjoy their purchase. I can’t imagine how much money they see walk out theirs doors. Wow.

It's an OK bakery, but I've been to better. I ordered a spinach type of croissant and another croissant with ham in it (dont know the exact names), but they gave it to me cold and not warmed up, and it felt stale as well. The cashier was also very weird and kept staring at me which made me uncomfortable.
