Staff was friendly. Made my order quickly !!! The latte was delicious! Only reason I rated 4 not 5 stars is the date square I ordered had a LOT of cinnamon in it. I was running errands so I didn’t have time to hang out but it looked cozy in there.

HOTBLACK COFFEE is an absolute gem in Toronto! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome and the friendliest host who makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends.
Their coffee is top-notch — rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I love that they use local products, which makes everything taste fresh and authentic. On top of the amazing beverages, they also offer delicious meals and homemade biscuits and cakes that pairs perfectly with your drink.
The service is genuinely kind and thoughtful — you can tell they really care about their customers. A sweet and gentle vibe all around. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great coffee, tasty food, and a welcoming experience in the city!

I used to love their cold brew, it was unique and unlike any other cold brew I have had anywhere else. So I was pretty disappointed when they temporarily closed. I recently went back after they re-opened, but the cold brew tasted water down now. Also tried the coffee jelly latte in another occasion and it barely had any coffee flavor. I will give it a few more tries since I really want to support this business, but really hoping the flavors will be more on point.

This has become my go-to spot for coffee after starting a new job nearby. Always made well, the flat whites are delicious. Their food is excellent, with the egg toast being perfect! Definitely worth stopping in.

This coffee shop is awesome, the manager here is so friendly, I order the mocha, ive had it 3x now and each time it was a 10/10. I now make it a part of my weekly schedule to drop in get a mocha and chill in the nice bench area they have in the back of the café. Great place, awesome service and a variety in their menu for everyone.
This place was recommended by a former colleague. I was excited to try out their food and coffee. The coffee station wasn’t too exciting so I didn’t order one. The over easy egg and homemade bread was over difficult lol. If I were the owner I would definitely add a second egg to that large bread and make sure it’s fresh. The cashier was quiet nice though :)

Matcha is mid. I got it iced and it tasted watered down. Nice inside. The flies inside were kinda bothering me tho. Baristas were very nice and explained everything well. No wifi.

I got the ginger brew latte and a jam cookie. The cookie was delicious and buttery. I was a bit disappointed with the ginger latte though since I was expecting a bit more of a kick from the ginger but the ginger flavour really didn’t come through. I would come here again for the cookie!
