As soon as the dishes were served, I felt that they smelled so delicious, reminiscent of the aroma of meals in China. They had a strong pot aroma and the taste was excellent.

Hotopia Scarborough is a gem! While it’s known more for its Sichuan cuisine and Mala Dry Pots than traditional hot pot, the flavors here are absolutely incredible and authentic.
I highly recommend trying the Sichuan Style Bullfrog Pot—the meat was so tender and the chili seasoning had a real, satisfying kick (you can adjust the spice level!). The appetizers were also great; don't skip the Scrambled Eggs and Tomatoes, which are unexpectedly rich and comforting.
Beyond the delicious food, the service is truly a highlight. The staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it perfect for a casual dinner or a celebration. If you're looking for flavorful, authentic Sichuan food in a great environment, Hotopia is a must-visit!
