Hungry Jack's Italian Mediterranean grill

Ordered from here once. Chicken smelled bad. Lettuce in salad was wilted. We didn't eat so as not to get sick.

Just excellent . I’ve been driving by this place for years and we finally came for my birthday . My husband is an old school butcher and he loooooooved his steak . Can’t wait to come back. The waitress was very nice .

I had a “margherita” pizza that was the worst pizza experience I’ve had in a long time. The pizza was soggy, the cheese was unmelted, and the basil flavour was too strong. It was like I spent $15 for a $7 grocery store pizza but the grocery store pizza would have tasted better.

I won’t be going back.

Randomly stumbled upon Hungry Jack's headed for another lunch spot. The menu looked good and reasonably priced, so we went in. Chef Fernando made the entire experience pleasant and satisfying. The best fish (haddock) and chips ever. The fish coating was crisp, tender and delicious. Wonderful ambience. A happy surprise. I'll be back again soon. My favourite lunch spot from now on.

I recently visited « Hungry Jacks Italian Mediterranean restaurant” and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious. The ambiance was cozy and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Made the worst drink I've ever tasted. It felt like I was participating in fear factor or some wild YouTube challenge just by drinking it. I would not get paid to drink this, much less give $10. When our table politely requested a refund on the drink we were told that's what $10 is worth. Absolute mess. Avoid.

This was all store bought frozen food at best. I felt bad to say anything while there, but I am hoping the restaurant will take constructive criticism to improve. The calamari was decent, the tortilla for qusedilla tasted stale, and over spicey, the sour cream tasted expired and salsa too, and lamb shank was small piece, so spicey with red chilly flakes, and so salty too, all vegies had Chilli flakes, the marinara cheese pizza mostly cheese peices were lumpy did not melt, also store bought frozen type, as cheese did not even melt, there were thin looking green clear slimy hot sauce on top, our kids could hardly eat it. The burger my spouse ordered looked old frozen, that was hard, chewy, and the buns were also stale. It was the worst food we have eaten in Toronto or our lives it seems. The cook or whomever back there with a fridge and microwave should find a new gig.
Us four really wasted to enjoy a nice family meal. This explains why we were the only ones eating there on a Friday night.

We come from cultures where we do not belive in being rude to service staff, and complaining about food, also there is a chance of someone spitting on the dishes if sent back, we never risk that. Hence, we did not say anything while we are there. We and our kids were very hungry, and do not belive in being wasteful of our hard earned money. Hence we ate it, but we will not be coming back. Never eaten such bad quality dishes laced with spice to hide the bad taste and quality. Defensiveness will keep that place empty. Goodluck.

This place was so quaint, the atmosphere was stylish and inviting, the food was very fairly priced and delicious! The service was also excellent! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would come again.

I ordered the fish and chips( more fish & thin batter?) and my wife ordered the steak perfectly cooked. it’s our 5th time coming here and will be coming back. Chef fernando is as professional as it gets. + prices are worth the portions.

Very good value for money for this small neighborhood restaurant, Italian and Greek cuisine. We liked the chicken souvlaki, the lasagna (a little spicy) and the Greek salad. Kind and fast service.Thank you so much !
