The food was delish and the service was incredible! A great variety of options on the menu. We will definately be back.
A delightful experience! Staff are very knowledgeable of the cuisine, food was fresh and many great options to try, and the ambience is wonderful with stylish decor and evening sunlight. I will be back!
Mauro always is so exceptional !! We had a wonderful evening of cocktails and just a lovey meal ! Thank You as always, Cynthia Grice
Understated elegance and a hidden gem. The food was absolutely terrific, one of the best Italian meals in memory. The Vitello Tonnato was as good as I remember when I was a teenager in Italy, the gamberoni where exceptional, and the cannoli like in Sicily. Don't pass it up if you value authentic Italian.
About as authentic an Italian experience as you can get in Toronto - great food made with care and attention, still moderately priced, no nonsense service - Giancarlo won't steer you wrong on what's best today
The food and service were exceptional, and our server, as well as the owner, were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Great Italian dishes at this resto. Loved the seafood linguine and the salad. Service was great.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner here. I must give special mention to the seafood muscle dish, as it was my favourite experience… it’s the kind of dish you leave squeaky clean because the sauce is that good 👌.You truly can’t go wrong with anything from the menu though.

We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day experience—every course was delicious—I especially enjoyed the burrata with caviar and the braised short rib ravioli :)
The service was top notch as always. A real gem in the city!

Whenever I’m in the east end this is a mandatory stop for lunch or dinner. A favorite appetizer is the calamari and always a great selection of fresh homemade pastas that never disappoint. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable, especially with wine selections. Highly recommended.

Great food, great service. We were there for Valentine's dinner. Excellent fixed price menu and the evening was well organized by the restaurant. Each course was delivered with perfect timing and staff was professional, accommodating and friendly. You won't be disappointed.
Came in excited. Left very disappointed. The whole experience with tip cost 420$ for 2 people. I received my main during the valentine's special and it looked like a hungry man dinner slathered in gravy. A cold thin slice of meat with cold fries. Immedietly afterwards observed other tables with full real portions arrive worthy of the 125p.p price tag. Every table had a extra dessert brought out without anyone asking for it. And we had to say hey whats going on? In order to receive ours. Anyways. Again. Came excited. Left annoyed. Hate to leave a low score. But you get what you give.
My girlfriend and I went to ilponte for Valentine's Day and we had a great time. Food and service were exceptional. Very impressed by the specials and quality of food.
