Food is amazing and the price is unbelievable for the portion you get. I tried their pork bone soup (gamjatang) and it was so flavourful and so soothing on a chilly day. The pork was super tender, falling right off the bones and the broth is so rich. For the price you pay ($11) I was surprised by the big pieces of pork/pork bone it came with! I came before 5pm on a weekend and they had lots of seating. The service was fast and attentive. Would definitely come again! Such a hidden gem!

Grabbed Japchae, vegetable pancake and pork bone soup for lunch (cash only). Food was good and very affordable, and they open early @ 11:00 am.

Interesting small place decided to try the food. Food was excellent suggesting having the Gamjatang. Serve boiling hot in a stone bowl.

Food is great! Dolsot bibimbap is extremely good with their own sauce. The veg fried rice is also a bomb! On a side note they have pack-lunch for only $5.

No frills at this place! And that is not a bad thing at all. Right at the top of the menu, it will state that Imonay means ā€œaunt’s placeā€ in Korean. And you can absolutely feel that small family vibe. Although not growing up in a Korean household myself, I found every bit of the food to feel homey and nostalgic. The prices are very reasonable and I can understand why this is a go-to Korean staple for college students.

I had the bone broth upon recommendation and it was lovely. It was very satisfying, filling, and earthy. I also ordered the seafood pancake which does the trick. I prefer my Korean pancakes to have a bit more structural integrity and crispiness but for what you pay, it is a very small gripe.

The space itself is very small but I went in the afternoon on Wednesday so tables were readily available. Don’t expect a seat available during peak hours though.

My server was also very sweet and attentive!

Very bad service!! When I was trying to pay I used my credit card and it went through, but they said they only take debit and I asked if they were for sure the credit payment didn’t go through, they said yes so I paid again and charged me double!! When I went back the next day they say they charged me double and still wouldn’t refund me back even when it was in their system claiming it might not be me even when I showed them proof on my bank statement. They said it was my fault. Worst customer service, would not come back again
