Imonay is among the most affordable Korean restaurants that I’ve come across in recent memory, nestled in Koreantown after all these years.

We had two kimbaps with bulgogi & sausage for only $4 each, although each was small and thinly sliced into 6 pieces. The Korean army stew hotpot for 2 was $27 filled with classic fish tofu, mushroom, spam, instant noodles. I would add cheese next time for the necessary umami flavor. This is by far the cheapest eats I've ever seen in this economy. It's no wonder it's so popular. Came on a Saturday evening around 5 and wasn't too busy. I shared an army stew and seafood pancake with a friend. Eating both dishes was EXTREMELY filling. Army stew was good, especially for only $25?!? Pancake was okay, it seemed a bit under.
