I stumbled into this place after walking for a couple hours and was starving. Grabbed a coffee, a vegan cookie, and an avocado toast. The avocado toast was tiny — actually laughably so — but it tasted great. The vegan cookie was solid, and the coffee hit with precision.
What stood out was the staff. They were moving nonstop, actually working hard instead of pretending to. You can tell they care about what they’re doing, and that goes a long way.
Small portions, good food, strong work ethic. Not a bad stop if you’re in the area.

Almost 4 dollars for a small English Breakfast tea?! Service quality was average. I know it's only a tea, but I'm still a paying customer. A please and thank you would be nice. Tried a free sample of a chocolate cookie, and frankly it was bitter and had a floury texture. However, it may have been made that way as a healthier option to commercial cookies. Looks like they specialize in healthy food, which is great, but if you're just looking for a coffee shop, try somewhere else.

I was in for a quick lunch today with my family for my 40th birthday. When we arrived the place was packed (love to see it) and we would have been happy to just order take away and eat at home. The person who welcomed us in (I think his name was Neil) was SO friendly and kind and went out of his way to move some things around so there was a table available for us! He also brought us cookies after we had all ordered and sat down. Every team member who served us was also very welcoming and made the experience such a treat (which is sometimes hard to do at a quick-ish service restaurant). I already loved Impact but now I love it even more. And a special shoutout to Neil for going out of his way to make our day.

They serve coffee, teas lattes etc….but had now dairy. No milk no cream. Not everyone can do alternatives. They said they were out- but seriously run accords the street and buy some milk and cream.
First time in Toronto and first time at Impact Kitchen — our city trip couldn't have a better start! The food there is really fresh and super delicious! The cool atmosphere is rounded off by the really friendly and attentive staff. You immediately feel welcome. Many thanks to Simrin, who took such good care of us. We'll be back! P. S. A lovely place. Atmosphere. Studenty trendy cold and modern. Very clean and well maintained and merchandised. Service. For the most part it is lively aside from an individual who clearly is not native to the English language and found it difficult and time consuming to place harder at the cash - but she was sincerely trying very very hard. Food. Very delish. Had the breakfast sandwich and the bagel was not too bad - especially when dipped in the hot sauce. The eggs and toast was decent too and the grass fed (cow) butter was good quality - though I’m not certain, you should clarify, they may charge for butter. They provided (as first time customers) free cookies, which was extremely appreciated and we were totally taken aback by this generous move. The chocolate cookie with sea salt was not to my liking mostly due to the fact that all of us do not appreciate dark chocolate - which this tasted like dark chocolate. The other cookie was lovely in all manners. The coffee, especially the decaf was EXCELLENT and mid way I asked the manager (awesome fellow) if he could transfer the remaining amount into a cup with ice for iced coffee. He did so with gusto and even offered to top it off. I declined the kind offer and proceeded to drink the coffee with much pleasure.
Would I come back? Yes, if in the area and someone wanted to eat gluten free or extra healthy for sure. Go out of my way - if the above applied and no where else closer was an option - yes. But for me it’s out of the way. If I were local I would actually patron this place regularly in part due to the warm and considered and welcoming service and attitude of the super professional manager.

I've been coming to Impact before and after my gym routine for over a year now. Really enjoy their protein shakes and salads - it's not easy to find nutritious yet deliciously-made food when you need something quick but healthy.
Special shoutout to Ati who always provides superb customer service and a happy smile every time I see them. Their energy really makes my day!
