Had only been in the main level bar but after discovering the Library upstairs it is a new favorite place.

One time they lost the credit card they made me leave at the bar to run a tab, luckily I also had some cash on me. Had to cancel that card and get it reissued. I can't stay angry at this place though, it's great.

A lovely little hole in the wall! They also have women’s safety in mind which is always awesome!! Tja served me (I hope I spelled that right) and had some amazing recommendations!

Fantastic bi-level pub with different themes and the top floor has a beautiful terrace.
Great staff; competitive drink prices. Funky boho of an era decor. Time travel vibes!

The staff was amazing one of my friends wasn't feeling well and they support her getting g home safe it is an amazing place to go and have a few drinks late without needing to dance or be in a hectic bar atmosphere. Its a great place to just chill.

waiter was great and very friendly and was always nearby he even gave recommendations on what to order. the atmosphere was amazing we sat on the roof and it was amazing to see the view down below on a sunny day in toronto. The food came at a decent time as well and everything tasted well for the prices. Would return for sure.

Imperial Pub is a historically rich pub centered in downtown Toronto. I personally hosted a weekly event here and management could not have been easier to work with. Together we worked in an almost intuitive synergy that allowed us to bring live music to an eager Toronto crowd. Being near TMU (formerly known as Ryerson) the staff is generally students or other younger people with a pep in their step. It is a very nice place to be, which stand in contrast to the local area around it which is collapsing as I write this. The upstairs Library brings a vintage warm aesthetic that is such a nice place to chill at. Some food could be fresher (sorry Imperial I love you guys), so it's pretty on par with a typical pub. I miss this place.

Layout of the bar and decor was the first thing we noticed.Great ambience. The beer is cold and the bartenders are quick. Tonight there was a rockin band. Overall we'd come back to the imperial pub. This place might be a new favorite.
