Flavourful tasty food and excellent attentive service.Unfortunately the owner or manager decided to take over a table near us and talk loudly on his phone for ages. And why is there a Christmas tree in March?!

The restaurant impressed us with its cleanliness, and the food was beautifully presented. I believe there is room for improvement in the taste of the butter chicken dish.

Indian Desire in Toronto is one of the good Indian cuisine restaurants. Car parking can be a challenge on Bloor street. Well maintained restaurant with good ambience, but service was a bit late. Saw few families around having lunch. They serve quite a variety of dishes, along with liquor. Had been here for lunch, and the experience was good.

I recommend the butter chicken, the garlic nan and the samosa. Delicious, warm and very presentable dishes.

The food was delicious , they had even dumpling momos beside unusual Indian dishes. The only thing is that Chai was extremely sweet. They need to ask customers if they want sugar.

I’ve been here twice and both times have been very impressed, both by their food and by how warm, friendly, and accommodating the staff are. I felt right at home and could easily become a regular here. I chose one of the lunch specials — butter chicken, rice, and a drink for $13.95, which I thought was really reasonable. Did not disappoint! The butter chicken was delicious and the portion size perfect. My friend ordered saag paneer, which was also very tasty. There are many great vegetarian and vegan options, and if you have dietary restrictions they will help you figure out what you can eat. The ambience and set-up is lovely - peaceful, tasteful, and comfortable. I think this is becoming one of my go-to restaurants.Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegan options and vegetarians are certainly not an afterthought like they are many places. In fact, instead of meat being the default, they had a “non-vegetarian” section of their menu!Dietary restrictions: They are patient and flexible and will help you figure out what you can eat.

The food was good. Took almost 30 min to get an appetizer even when the restaurant was empty. The service could have been better in terms of cooking time.
