Most authentic golgappa if you’re looking for a delhi punjabi taste. I don’t mind paying $12.99 for how authentic they are. They are home prepared and spicy version is the best.

All the negative reviews are so real - please listen to them. I made the terrible decision of ordering from them at a food festival they were at recently.
1st of all, they lied about pricing. The aunty said $15 total for my pav bhaji but my card was charged $18.87. I know I shouldn’t have tapped without looking at her screen but she had it turned away and I was trusting. It was represented to me as a total cost, but even with tax on the $15, it shouldn’t have been that much more. When I asked about it the next day, she was very rude and unhelpful.
I asked the name of the place (they didn’t have signage, in contravention of city bylaw, I think), she lied and told me the name of a different place lol. I guess she didn’t realize I can see the vendor name on the credit card charge.
2nd of all, $18.87 is a very high price for the amount of food and also the taste was meh. I wouldn’t order from here again. The pav were ok. It came with a “side salad” which was incredibly dry and old looking cabbage leaves.
When I was trying to order at first, she said they take card only because their owner doesn’t allow cash, but when I said I didn’t have my wallet, she was going to take the cash anyway (then I remembered i could tap on my phone). Shady.
And lastly, I wasn’t thrilled with the food handling practices I saw. No gloves, a lot of cross touching and no hand washing in sight.
I should have known better than to order from them because it was the only place with no line up lol. Hopefully this review saves some others from having to deal with this terrible business with meh food and deceptive business practices 😊

— DISASTER —
This place is a total scam. They lure you in with signs like “Tender Coconut only $6” but once you step inside, it’s a trap. They insist you sit down, serve you, and then slap on a ridiculous 15% “convenience fee” on top of already overpriced food and drinks.
We ended up paying almost $80 for a meal barely worth $50, thanks to hidden fees, taxes, and that absurd surcharge. To make it worse, the service felt pushy and manipulative.
Avoid this place at all costs. I wish I had checked the reviews before my own disastrous experience. And one last tip: never engage with the old lady she’s the mastermind behind this scam

The food was good and freshly made. Sugarcane juice was good. Chaat was good especially Dahi Bhalle. Rabri Falooda was okay. Could be a little better. Overall we were okay.

Warning: Scammers Fraudulent Charges & Expired Products!
Be very careful when shopping here. The lady at the counter (Old Lady )overcharged me, and when I questioned the price, she gave a bizarre excuse saying it was “Gratuity for two people .” The Food is unhygienic, tasteless, and not worth visiting. She also Selling tickets for indian Festival and forcing you to but and will never send you tickets.
This is completely unacceptable and unsafe.I Am going to complain to Public Health Ontario for ripping people.I strongly recommend others check dates and receipts if they choose to shop here.

I went to a street stall on Indian Rasoi on Younge St
They had their dishes photographed and didn’t have any prices on them
I saw the item tikki chat and order one. The lady charged 15.99 CAD for one tikki chat served on a Plastic plate. With taxes the aloo tikki chat came to around 18.24 CAD
These people are simply looting customers. The food served was in a plastic plate with plastic spoons and the price was exorbitantly high. The chat was below average too. The amount of chat they offered was too little.
Please avoid going to this place as their main goal is not customer satisfaction but looting people at all cost.
Will never ever go to Indian Rasoi.

One of the worst experiences ever. They gave us one menu and were forcing us to make a choice. We took some time and ordered the Panipuri which was with less price on the menu. She told us they have two different types so we went with the suji one which was like 6 pieces for $12.99. Like seriously. The one in the menu was $8.99 and they didn’t even bother to tell us the price is different when we ordered. Chole Bhature was bland as well. Another customer was arguing about the same pani puri case.
Bunch of scammers standing there to scam and ripoff people. And I can say they have bought the good reviews here because there is no way people actually like this restaurant, its price and the scammers working here.

Worst experience ever I had in an Indian restaurant. The aunty over there was pressurizing us to order quick and trying hard to make us order the sugarcane juice forcefully. She did not even let us know that suji wala panipuri costs 12.99 and just 6 pcs. One of the costumer was also fighting for not letting to give proper information. My mood went from 😃 to 😑. Really bad experience with the food. Recommend not to try. I wish i could give a zero star

Very bad experience at the food festival. They charge more than they say and deny later on. They charge random amount in the name of tax. They are not honest with their pricing. And the food is not worth the price.

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant. The lady working there was manipulative and overcharged me for the drinks. I ended up paying $22 for just two sugarcane juices. On top of that, the drinks were nothing special. I honestly regret going there.
The best tasting sugarcane juice in all of Toronto. Order delivery with both SkipTheDishes and Doordash. Highly recommended visiting the location!
