Amazing beers, good food, excellent atmosphere. Supercute when the patio is open
Terrible service. Food took over an hour and drinks were comped. Place was empty. Did not make sense
Great service and excellent food!
This used to be my go to spot and haven’t been in a while. A few of the menu items have changed. I tried the pizza and dish and chips. Both were just okay. The fish and chips serving size is worth every penny but it’s sooooooo greasy. I wasn’t even able to finish it. The pizza was just okay as well. A little dry and boring.
Great food & beer. Lovely staff. Perfect neighborhood pub.
Highly recommend the lil instigator and the indie burger
Last time I was at Indie Alehouse was during a craft beer crawl with some friends pre-COVID. This time was for a friend's birthday dinner.
I didn't have any beer as I generally try to drink less these days, but my friends love the beer here, and wow was the food great. I got the fried chicken sandwich which was delicious, and the popcorn with rosemary Parmesan is a must try.
Atmosphere is great here! Would definitely recommend.
Very delicious beer
Hadn’t been here in years. Maybe it was just an off night but the food was terrible and the waiter was surly. Really quite bad.
Located in the heart of the Junction, The Indie Alehouse is a popular Brewpub with locals in the area. I recently dropped by for first time during lunch hour, and similar to all restaurants in the area, it's wasn't busy during this time so there were plenty of seating and reservations were not required. However, evenings and weekends can be quite busy, but reservations can be made via OpenTable.
I ordered the Burger of The mouth with a side of salad, while my friend ordered the Indie Fried Chicken Platter. I personally found the burger and salad to be quite delicious. The beef patty was juicy, with all sauces and ingredients complimenting each other nicely. My friend on the other hand, found the chicken a little dry, and the coleslaw warm, and soggy.
The restaurant had a cozy laid back feel at this time, contrary to the loud and lively evenings. The hostess/server was attentive, friendly, and efficient. She let us sit anywhere we wanted when we arrived given the quieter afternoons, and she knew the menu well.

Fast delivery and amazing beer!
Indie Alehouse is in dire need of a renovation. The benches and chairs pleather is peeling and sticks to your clothes and skin. The prices of the alcohol are really reasonable. But the prices of the food are too high. The food was very tasty. The beers are not my personal favourite. The service was excellent and attentive.
Indie has always been a consistently good place to eat, but lately it’s just a miss. The beer is not as interesting, and food is far too overpriced. Had a very underwhelming poke bowl for $26, fried chicken (mostly fried bits, not so much chicken) and a dry pulled pork sandwich. The chairs were a mess too, holes and duct taped together. The service was great but unfortunately it won’t be our go to place in the hood anymore
Unlike many independent breweries in Toronto, the range of beer that this establishment creates expands beyond the cascade hop heavy IPA.
Great, friendly, knowledgable staff. Excellent beer.
There isn't a "challenging" beer on the menu, but who wants to commit to a pint of beer that you may not want to finish? Beers are crafted with sessionability in mind and not for pushing any edgy taste envelope.
Excellent everyday draughts.
It feels like just another brewery, and doesn't do anything to distinguish itself. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special, nothing interesting. Straight down the middle plain.
