Lovely little restaurant with sidewalk patio. Lots of Latino options including vegetarian. Everything is great but the tacos are awesome!

Love this place. We had the Birra, Ceviche, Arepas Llanera and Guacamole. All were delicious. The standout for me was the ceviche, my husband and daughter loved the Birra. They also have a great cocktail menu (I was not disappointed with the Paloma). They have a great location on Queen street and our dog was welcomed on their patio. The service was very hospitable. I would definitely come back.

We visited Inmigranted on Queen after the Woodbine Jazz Fest, drawn in by its chic decor and cozy patio - the ambiance set high expectations. Unfortunately, the overall experience didnt quite match the vibe.
We order the 3 tacos along with a Tacos De Asada (top sirloin tacos) to sample a variety. The steak was disapppointingly chewy and the meats from the pull pork was overly marinated - the flavors felt muddled rather than elevated.
What really took away from the experience was the server's pushy upselling - it felt more transactional than hospitable, which left a sour taste even before the food arrived. On top of that, the prices felt steep for what we got. $13 for a mocktail that didnt standout, and tacos that didnt deliver on flavor? It just didnt feel worth it.
Beautiful space, but unfortunately, the service and the food quality didn't live up to the presentation.

I am surprised by all the 5 star reviews. Went for a quick dinner and was very disappointed in the food and service. Ordered the chicken arepas and they had zero flavour. Arepas are not a flavourful dish on there own but usually the filling can elevate them. This was not the case at Inmigrante - completely bland. Also ordered the Birria tacos, which while flavourful were very greasy. We had to wait awhile for someone to take our order. Beaches not known for its food scene and Inmigrante is not going to change that.

Real nice place to cool off with a great coktail during a hot summer evening. Mariana, our server for the evening was amazing. Always with a smile on her face, really knowledgeable about the menu, recommended the caipirinha with passion fruit. Really good!!! She also recommended arepas!! great choice of beef, chicken and vegetarian ones!! We'll be back for sure!!

This was my first time visiting the Immigrant.
First, gotta say that the service was amazing. Both the server and the manager did an excellent job and, in my opinion, managed everything exactly how they were supposed to.
We left a bit disappointed with the flavour of the carnitas and the birria.
The ceviche on the other hand was really good.
What left me with a good taste was the approach of the staff to ask what had been wrong. It makes me feel like they do take the customer experience seriously.
Nevertheless I feel like trying to cover something so complex, difficult and varied as the food from Latin America and fit it all in just one small place like this one it’s a bit pretentious and disrespectful towards all those cuisines. My recommendation would be: find the one you know the best. Improve it, research it, and stick to it. Latin American food it’s not just one category. It’s a whole world. As we say in Mexico: el que mucho abarca, poco aprieta.

I visited The Immigrant, we ordered the Peruvian ceviche, which was fresh and delicious, we also ordered birria and carnitas tacos that weren’t what we expected to be in flavour.
We shared our feedback with the waitress that even tho she was alone and busy with more clients, she cared about our experience with food. The manager personally came over to speak with us.
He explained that it was important for them to understand what didn’t work, which we really appreciated.
Overall, I’d consider coming back to try more of what they have.
