We enjoyed finger food and drinks. My husband favoured Jack Daniel's whiskey, and I selected a very soothing and refreshing drink called Toronto, which was quite enjoyable. We were very pleased. The service was excellent. The food was delicious, and the environment was romantic.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at this wonderful restaurant and lounge, and I couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. They were not just friendly, but also incredibly efficient and communicative, making sure that every detail of our experience was perfect.

The food was truly a highlight of the evening. Each dish was expertly crafted, bursting with flavor and showcasing a variety of culinary techniques that made every bite a delight. The generous portions left us feeling satisfied without being overwhelmed.

Everything from the ambiance to the service contributed to an unforgettable birthday celebration. If I had the chance to celebrate another birthday tomorrow, I would absolutely choose to return to this fantastic restaurant, as it truly made my special day memorable!

Used to be good. But has been downhill and many other brunch places are better. Food is bland and potato is full of sauce. Quality is poor, especially the Benedict with the muffin bread taste like cardboard

Very disappointed with the communication. I made a reservation 2 weeks ahead specifiy in my reservation that I am here for Summerlicious. On the morning of the date, they inform me by sms that they only serve brunches in weekend and Summerlicious is only available a free 3:30pm. If they don't offer it, the communication should be send much earlier or specify on the website that they won't serve lunch Summerlicious on weekend. I will never come again.

So I sorta feel bad writing this review because it's not really on the staff at all, or the place in terms of the way it's run. But the people this place attracts, or rather the people I've interacted with here are always so insufferable.

The lack of respect for boundaries, the shameless entitlement, it's all so depressing. My faith in humanity is damaged everytime I go here.

Honestly what kills me is the staff are really nice. They seem like good people. But that's the problem in a way, because I'm just watching nice people bend over backwards for terrible ones, and it hurts to witness.

The best breakfast/brunch I've found in Toronto in a fun neighborhood to walk around in afterwards. I suggest making a reservation for a table near the front area (near the windows) or you could be stuck in the dark back area. Heaven on Earth stuffed french toast is consistently amazing & I have always enjoyed their eggs benedict, steak & eggs & pancakes too. You should definitely get the bbq sauce covered home fries as a side and their coffee is on point (made with a touch of cinnamon). Service has also been very good every time I have been there. A gem.

Update: July 17, 2025. Unfortunately was very disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the neighbourhood is full of tall condos & chain stores are moving in, so it’s less pleasant to walk around. Our waitress was very good, but the manager/other waiter at the bar did not acknowledge my presence when entering, despite looking up, leaving an uncomfortable 30 seconds until the waitress came. They no longer have pancakes nor the Heaven on Earth French toast on the weekday menu, and the alternatives were unappealing. Chicken waffles at $32 is outrageous and the guacamole eggs Benedict seemed small, the hollandaise sauce seemed off and I felt unwell after my breakfast for several hours. As consistent pluses, our waitress was good (though being ignored at the door by the male staff was pretty bad) and the restaurant interior is still cosy & clean. Based on this experience, I will probably not be back & cannot recommend brunch there anymore, as you can do much better elsewhere.

Great iconic restaurant and bar. They recently started an artist series and support local artists by rotating the art on the wall every few weeks. I have my art on the wall from July 12 till end of September.
