I got the salmon eggs benedict. I thought it was just okay. Potatoes were very saucy. Not my fav way of eating potatoes but it was okay. My friend ordered the steak medium rare and it came out well done. Extremely chewy and dry. They did ask if he wanted another dish and switched it out which was nice. Service is good but overall, food is just okay.

I ate the breakfast burger, heaven on earth, grapefruit mimosa, and pineapple mimosa. It was delicious. It came out to be 79CAD(including the taxes and tip). Service was amazing. It's a popular place so reservations are highly recommended. They have about 2-3 tables that can seat 6+ people and the rest are more date-like seatings.

Totally lives up to it's name... morning brunch is super good and the cinnamon flavored coffee is warm and plentiful

Not sure about how much I love the ketchup home fries. But the staff is so lovely you don't mind.

Perhaps just making the brunch space brighter so that us coffee gollums can work on waking up would be helpful -- especially in the booths and dark corners.

What an amazing experience. I’m in town from BC and was intrigued by insomnia’s chic vibe and super talented bar staff. Dara is the best bartender I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. The cocktails were beautiful, the flare and excitement was exactly what I was looking for on this trip. Phaedra is amazing. Talya is lovely. I’ll be coming back to Toronto just for them! Thanks Dara! i’d been meaning to try insomnia for over a year and finally found myself in the neighbourhood… wow was it good! went on monday midday for the brunch special and had maybe the best grilled cheese of my life! great portion size for the brunch special price, wonderful and engaging service. place had a great vibe and i will definitely be returning at night to try out their delicious looking cocktail list! 100% worth the stop for any kind of casual eats you could hope for

We came here before a show in the city, and it was amazing.
There was what looked like an office party happening in the front, but we were seated in the lounge area where it was a bit more quiet.
Despite them being pretty busy, service was super quick, and very friendly. We hung around for a couple of drinks. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.
