I remember being on the first customers here when it opened in summer of 2024. One of the last times i went it took 5 minutes for someone to ask what i want to order at the counter. I Still miss the old cafe but sadly it burnt down last year.
Gorgeous café but super kind and friendly staff. The ladies were so sweet with my 11 year old daughter when we went to visit the island in October. The soup bowls were very hearty and the deserts were delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Visited the island on a brisk fall day. Went into The Island Cafe to warm up before the ferry. It was busy, they had a steady flow of people coming through, a mix of tourists and locals. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a hot chocolate. Cookie was average, not bad, but not something I would order again. The hot chocolate was not good. Tasted watery, like only half the required cocoa was added. The cost is on the premium side for what you get. I don’t plan on returning but...
