Cute spot. Went in out of curiosity as there was constantly a crowd waiting. Got a flat white that was SO SMOOTH. I LOVED IT SO MUCH. And the Hojicha canele was delicious toooooo. Wish they had more sit down area especially with colder weather approaching but i will still revisit.

I have been a devoted customer of Issho since its' pandemic cookie-box delivery days. Since opening the brick and mortar, I must avoid Gerrard and Broadview or I will not be able to walk away without a treat - the seasonal kabocha squash pie is truly my favourite all time dessert. The kimchi cheddar scone is the perfect on the go snack. The folks here are lovely- even when it is quite busy, customers are always greeted with a warm smile. Definitely recommend!

Amazing specialty coffee is served here. After I got into specialty coffee, it became quite hard to find a coffee shop in town that takes coffee making as seriously as I do. This little coffee shop definitely wowed me with their dedication in the craft of making coffees! Thank you, Issho Bakery for such a well-made cup of coffee! I will keep coming back for sure!

New to the area, passed by while on a walk and made a note to try it out. I'm glad I did because it was the best Americano I can remember having. The owner was nice enough to offer a sample of their drip coffee while waiting, which I really liked as well. He said it was a blend of beans to get the profile he wanted. I'll be back for the coffee, but also to try some baked goods.

It's a one man show, but service is brisk without feeling rushed. Espresso based drinks are very specialized. Shots are expertly pulled and ground single dose while the milk is perfectly textured. You almost forget the real star of the show, which are the phenomenal baked goods, which I first encountered years ago at RGLR. I had to seek them out when I heard they were still around!

Martin and Yuka are wonderful hosts. They are extremely pleasant and personable. Martin's friendly demeanor makes it easy to ask questions about the current beans being served.
For those that appreciate good espresso, I enjoy visiting different coffee shops, and this is by far my favourite shop in the GTA. I visit regularly, and Martin's consistency at dialing in has been 100%. He usually has two beans available, one medium roast and one light fruity roast. There have also been occasions where he has a third.
Depending on the time of the day, you'll be able to see Yuka in the back baking fresh pastries.
This is a special shop run by special people. You can be confident knowing you're receiving a top-notch experience every time. It is deserving of its overall 5 star rating by well over 100 people.
