Tried their cappuccino and mocha. Cappuccino was good but mocha had a weird taste. Really loved the ambiance ❤️

The main reason that I’m writing this review is because of the amazing service I got tonight from Arlene.
Istanbul Cafe has been a go-to spot of mine for years. It’s good to say that as time goes by the service gets better. Tonight we were served by an incredibly nice lady named Arlene. She was very polite and considerate. Even though it was quite late she still welcomed us with care and left a very good impression.

Update: After the ownership has changed, I do not recommend this place anymore. The prices are high. The batista was struggling with a simple coffee order.

This is one of the best coffee shops in the area, that’s where community blooms. Team is so warm, drinks are always good and I’ve personally made so many friends just by coming there. Great spot with great people.

I’ve been going to this cafe for YEARS - lovely ambiance, great selection of food, drinks, and pastry and can’t recommend it enough!

ordered a toasted ham and cheese on a croissant - they put it in a panini press which wasnt mentioned, wrapped up a very very burnt, black sandwich into a box … $12 wasted

Everything’s great at your place but please have your tables’ legs fixed and adjusted. The coffee was great but I could enjoy only half of it because I got it splashed twice once by the gentleman sitting in front of me and once myself. The table was really shaking and vulnerable! Cheers!

Rose latte was good. Iced matcha latte was good too. The service and the ambiance was fine. Didn’t really like the roasted red pepper sandwich and the double chocolate muffin was so dry

Great place can’t wait for the harp

I used to love this place because of its warm and cozy atmosphere, and their desserts are really great. However, I was so disappointed with the service recently. I ordered an iced matcha latte and tipped 20% as usual. I loved this place, so I always felt happy to tip. I usually get a latte or just an americano, but this was my first time ordering a matcha latte. I assumed it would be sweetened since most cafes I’ve been to usually sweeten it. But it wasn’t which can happen and is okay.

Thinking I could use some syrup, I asked the barista if I could get some simple syrup in my matcha latte. She made a serious face and said, “You should know that matcha latte has no syrup,” in an angry voice. She sounded like it's a shame that I even don't know the basic thing. I was so flustered and tried to figure out what I did wrong. I didn’t skip tipping and I was waiting until she finished her job to ask some syrup. I was so upset and now feel scared to go back to this place for fear of experiencing the same treatment. I used to encounter very kind staff before, but not this time. It was Sunday around 4 PM, and an Asian lady was working by herself. It’s just upsetting to lose one of my favorite cafe.
