Istanbul coffeehouse is dead and its corpse has been redressed in green paint and cold sausage rolls
I visited this café a couple of days ago, hoping for a cozy, local alternative to the usual chain spots. While I loved the atmosphere, I was disappointed with both the coffee and hot chocolate 😕. I really wish the quality of the drinks matched the charm of the place ☕️.

Such a cozy coffee shop! There’s lots of tables to sit at and the food is delicious! I had the Turkish Tea and the Goat Cheese & Arugula Breakfast Sandwich.

Absolutely my favorite coffee spot! The best service (amazing baristas!!!!!!), vibe and coffee 🫶🏻 such a cozy atmosphere for working/reading too!
Had such an amazing experience today. Food and coffees amazing. But the standout performance was to the staff, in particular the two Irish girls Kate and Sinead, they were amazing so friendly, attentive and really gave the cafe an authentic Irish vibe. Highlight of my trip! Would recommend to all! 💘

I tried their cupcakes and latte but the cupcakes didn’t taste reo good but I liked the Latte.
Tried their cappuccino and mocha. Cappuccino was good but mocha had a weird taste. Really loved the ambiance ❤️

The main reason that I’m writing this review is because of the amazing service I got tonight from Arlene.
Istanbul Cafe has been a go-to spot of mine for years. It’s good to say that as time goes by the service gets better. Tonight we were served by an incredibly nice lady named Arlene. She was very polite and considerate. Even though it was quite late she still welcomed us with care and left a very good impression.

I love their Americano and a blueberry muffin.
Update: After the ownership has changed, I do not recommend this place anymore. The prices are high. The batista was struggling with a simple coffee order.
