This was our first stop in Toronto. I had one of the vegan pizzas with the side Caesar. Very good vegan Caesar and I enjoyed the pizza as well!
Delicious! Nice environment and people! Perhaps the best restaurant in the city. Great for Ubereats as well. Garlic bread with cheese, plant based spaghetti Bolognese, both awesome ! Orrchiette fungi and lasagna both very good!
This is not a vegan restaurant. The food is good but very important to notice: this is a non-vegan restaurant with vegan options. They just advertise as two different restaurants but once you are in, it’s the same restaurant and the same kitchen.
We only had 2 coffees paid 8 dollars and 15 minutes of waiting

How nice to go out for a meal and receive a completely plant based menu with several options for appetizers and mains. So much to choose from but decided to start with the avocado cashew caesar and the oriecchette fungi as my main. The salad was freshly made and not overly dressed- crispy and flavourful. I love mushrooms and the oriecchette fungi was tasty, creamy and full of flavour. I enjoyed both dishes and was looking forward to the vegan tiramisu I had heard about but found out no more ( ?) and only sorbets and vegan creme brulee were on offer. Had really hoped for better vegan dessert options. Nice, relaxing atmosphere though a bit more attentive service ( refilling water glasses, asking how meal was) would have been good as not overly busy. Updated from previous review on 2024-09-18
Ordered in from this place to our hotel and we were over the moon. It's so nice when you don't have to choose the one or two vegan options but the entire menu is safe to eat. Thank you so much, we'll definitely stop by to dine in, next time

So happy I visited here during my last night in Toronto. Founded in 1986, this spot is provides authentic and delicious Italian food, providing a full plant-based menu—appetizers, pizza, pasta, wine, and deserts. Highly recommended.
Had to try the Spaghetti Bolognese (made with Impossible plant-based ground) because it’s my comfort food - it did not disappoint! Wish I saved room for dessert because a plant-based crème brûlée was on offer. Maybe next time!
So happy they have such an extensive vegan menu. Italian is one of my fave cuisines and it can be hard to find vegan Italian that is not fast food in Toronto. Really enjoyed the food here. The plant based pepperoni slices on our pizza was pretty thick - thought we mistakenly received the fennel sausage. Delicious nonetheless?absolutely love their vegan cheese. The crème brûlée had a pudding/flan texture, not quite a custard but it was still very good.
Love that this spot has a fully vegan menu, they even have a section for vegan wines, too. Really great pizza (the carrot salmon pizza is especially good imo), and a nice selection of pastas. You're even offered vegan parmesan or cracked black pepper which is a nice touch. We were also treated to a plant-based creme Brule which had phenomenal flavourful and a nice crunchy top. If you want to check this place out on a weekend, I'd recommend making a reservation. It's pretty busy, you'll soon see why! ?

Ordered from here a few nights ago. I ordered the bruschetta, a side Caesar, and the Mushroom pasta. The service was a bit slow; the first driver left and a second picked up.I wish I had taken photos, but I was so hungry when it got here! The Bruschetta was divine; I haven’t eaten a better one yet, except in my own kitchen! Wonderfully garlicky, and smartly packed for takeout/delivery.The Caesar salad was also good, just a bit smaller than I hoped. The mushroom pasta was delicious as well; all well worth returning for.I just wish it was a bit more reasonable; I know good food costs money.I would encourage the team to look at Violife Parmesan; it’s far better and higher quality!
Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegan choices!!
Dietary restrictions: Excellent for those with dairy and egg restrictions, also vegans and vegetarians.

Ghost kitchen.
We ordered the vegan manicotti, the vegan pesto and cauliflower pizza and the vegan pizza melanzane. They were all so delicious! The vegan manicotti literally tastes homemade! It was the best vegan food I’ve had in Toronto because you can tell they use quality ingredients and every dish is made with care. Will be ordering here again for sure! Thank you for making it easier for vegans ?
One side note, I order off UberEats and it arrived cold unfortunately… we did have to reheat in the microwave which was quite disappointing but does not take away the quality of the food.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan!
Ghost kitchen.
Italian for Vegan is actually Il Fornello, which is great because they've been a great but not obvious place to get vegan eats for a very long time, making vegan versions of their dishes before it was cool ? Can't recommend enough.
