I tried calling them but ended up receiving a 1b1 error. I would suggest they remove the telephone number to save the customer’s time.

I just returned from Japan two months ago and although we didn’t make it into the Michelin star sushi restaurant we had planned to get in to, I must say that no sushi we had in Japan topped the flavors we experienced here at Iwami. The premium sushis are definitely worth experiencing. The sesame sauce was incredible. My wife had the chicken infused with truffle. It knocked me out. The udon my son had was again better than many we had in Japan. Nice work chef! You did good!

The best shirashi I had in quite a while. Excellent!
Worth returning a next time.
Only the noise of a party in another part of the lobby spulled the mood a bit.

Really great portions and prices. The employee was super helpful and made recommendations, including ones that were cooked and pregnancy safe for me. They even used a different cutting board and utensils without me asking. Would definitely come back!

So good! My husband and I were in Toronto for a show, and had dinner here. It was the best sushi we've ever had. We had eggplant before and didn't love it, but I saw great reviews for Miso Eggplant and tried it anyway. It was excellent, I even joked about licking the plate clean! We also had the Fuji, Salmon Truffle, Rainbow Roll, Caramel Purin, and a citrus dessert I can't remember the name of but was recommended. Everything was delicious.

It's a more casual experience within a larger dining hall, but the food is perfect. I am sad that I don't live nearby, or I'd go here every day.

Small unassuming shop that now sells my favourite maki’s in the city. Not too much rice and lots of fillings for a good price.

literally a hidden gem (because it's a bit hard to find in Chef's Hall - it's where Tachi used to be) and perfect for a pre-show dinner or when you're just craving sushi and want something eons nicer than Monkey Sushi.

this place is phenomenal.

tommy is the man, you can feel his heart and soul that goes into every meal he made.

highly recommend the truffle maki, and the sous vide duck!

everything else is superb though

hoping this review doesnt blow up because i'd like it to remain a hidden gem

however in a city where 90% of sushi is made by min wage workers (which is totally fine)

its a breath of fresh air to spend your hard earned cash at a place where someone truly puts their heart on the line and cares about their craft.

they don't just serve food they're creating it.

will def be coming back again... and again!

On the expensive side for sure. Quality is great but wait is long. Would eat it if you gave it to me but definitely wouldn’t pay for it again. Nothing special
