Loud and way too busy. Food was mediocre for the prices. Server was nice and service was good thankfully.

First time coming to this Jack’s at Front St. We usually go to the one right at Yonge and Dundas or the one at Don Mills. Never coming back here.
Came here for an early dinner. Front host were phenomenal. Our server on the other hand was obviously in a mood. You can tell she wanted us out of there as soon as we got seated.
So we rushed our dinner so I can’t even say if the food was good. I didn’t get to enjoy it since we felt very rushed. The atmosphere and energy created by our server was rushed so there def was no vibe there. Husband and usually have alcoholic beverages as our dessert, but we just went to the one at Yonge and Dundas for that.
Since I understand people have their bad days, I asked her nicely after I paid and still gave her 20% if it was simply because she was busy. Her response was that she hasn’t had a break in 8 hours and continuing. She was hangry. And so she’s unhappy that she kept getting tables.
So definitely not coming back here. There are way too many other options in that neighborhood that would treat their paying customers like humans.

Great upbeat, fun place to catch a sporting event on TV and eat delicious food. We always stop in before any event at Scotiabank Arena because it's close to Union Station and walking distance to so much more. Make a reservation online to secure a table, but there is waiting room and the line moves quickly. Always good service, friendly staff and using their Inspired Rewards App you can save money, order, pay and even choose what music they play!
Kid-friendliness: Always super accommodating to kids and they have a great "big" kids menu my 10 year old loves 😉

Had a great experience for pre Raptors game dinner and drinks ... Our server Blake was absolutely amazing !! The food and drinks were very yummy :) . We will continue to return to Jack Astors for our traditional Raptors pre game enjoyment !! Keep up the great work 👍👍
Came to jack Astor’s with my boyfriend to get an appetizer and the server would not serve us as our personality was “too loud” We were talking at a normal volume, no other patrons had problem with us talking.. Very disrespectful and rude and just embarrassing. Do not come here. this is a horrible establishment. I hope they get new management, the manager that is there now is incredibly rude and should not work in the restaurant industry.

It's not the first time over here. Many times, we got served by other waitresses with amazing customer service and I really enjoyed my food and the service, but yesterday, unfortunately, the waitress had very poor customer service, and she didn't deserve the 18% tip that she applied automatically in my bill of 214.11 and she added her tip 38.54,not worth it to pay 252.65 CAD, because she knew it how she did and she doesnt deserve more than a 1 dollar, but I was busy with my family (2 adults and 3 kids) and I didn't want to argue about it, I didn't want to ruin my Saturday, but I talked to her manager, Giselle, and I mentioned how was our experience. It's the first time I saw this where the waitress added the tip because usually I tip over 20% if it's great service, but whoever served at table # 25 on March 08th,2025 do better or get a new job. Not everyone should work at a restaurant if you don't care for others, at least have a better expression, because it's your job and you get paid for CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
And advice for parents, taste the kids menu, because the chicken finger was spice yesterday, I understood why my children didn't eat it.

Adding tips to bill without notifying the customer is a cheap work guys.

Super costly. Order delivery timing is good. But foods are not great. Vibe and ambience is pretty good. Spicy chicken wings ordered was bad. Cost 100$ gave 10$ tip. Since i forgot the bill i called them after i reach home to give me the pricing of each item since i have to split it up with my veg and nveg friends accordingly... they told me the bill is 80$ and i gave 30$ tips.. also the chicken wings i took was on the house because of bad quality. Pretty weird that those girls did something behind someone to change the bill to 30$ tips... though no lose for us.. pretty weird to hear these things happen in big brand like jack astors.

✨Great food, chill vibes, and amazing service ✨
Came here on a weekday evening with some colleagues, and it was a great experience. There were plenty of open seats, but the place still had a nice buzz; music playing, people chatting, and an overall relaxed atmosphere.
Our waiter was fantastic. Attentive, efficient, and super friendly. He checked in on us frequently without being overbearing and even cracked some jokes, which made the experience even better. We ordered some entrees, mains, and drinks, and everything was great. The drinks were solid, and he had good taste in recommending a bottle.
For my meal, I had the Miso Glazed Salmon Bowl. Perfectly grilled salmon, fresh ingredients, and a great mix of flavors. Loved the miso dressing, and the turmeric cauliflower added a nice touch.
Would definitely recommend this spot for a casual night out with good food, drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere!

Absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend the Iced Mango Mint. The nachos were such a huge portion. They were probably some of the best I've had. Plan on returning whenever I visit Toronto again.

We ended up here as an alternative place, because of multiple events downtown, and couldn't wait at our initial choice, Jacks had shorter table wait, but was still very busy, to our surprise table was quickly available, once seated immediately got our server Jacob W, who not only was efficient, and quick, but had a great attitude, considering how busy he was. The food was exactly what we ordered, and was delicious! Hope this wasn't a one off, because would gladly return here again, and highly reccomend Jack Astor's on Front.

We had an unfortunate experience at this location. After being seated, we were unexpectedly denied service with no clear explanation. A staff member stated they were "not comfortable serving us," even though we were dressed in business casual attire, had not caused any disturbance, and were simply looking to continue our evening with a few drinks after an office gathering.
What makes this even more disappointing is that we have visited this location multiple times after our office gatherings in the same way and never faced this issue before. This interaction left us feeling unfairly judged, and we couldn’t help but sense discrimination in the way we were treated. Very disappointing, especially from a well-known establishment.
