Was a very well balanced meal. Table side cesar and steaks were made to perfection. Service and atmosphere was top notch. The price can make some people weak in the knees but all considered, well worth it.

We were so excited to go to the new location of Jacobs. Upon entering the venue, we were looking forward for a nice meal with excellent service. The staff were nice and made us feel welcome including a tour of the kitchen after food service was finished.

However, there were a few hits and misses throughout the night. The bartender was nice enough to come over and replace one of the drinks that did not suit us. Bread came first followed by food which came promptly with Ceviche, Beef Tartar, and Baked Scallops. They were impressive with the scallops as the winner but we hoped that it was hot as it arrived lukewarm.

We then moved on to Snow Pea Leaf, Duck Fat Fries, Potato Gratin, Wagyu Fried Rice, and Bone Marrow. The snow pea leaf dish was disappointing as it was either overcooked or it was not the best season for them. The fries and gratin were the best while the rice and marrow were really fatty. For the main, we shared the 60 Day house aged T Bone amongst the four of us cooked to medium rare. I think the group preferred less aged as some love the steak cooked to blue.

We ended off the night with Monkey Bread as the dessert but it was disappointing from a taste and texture perspective. Before leaving, the staff gave us some coffee cake muffins which were amazing. Overall, service was good but there were slight misses in terms of clearing of plates. At times, the empty dishes were sitting for a while but other times, the staff were too eager to take them away before we finished. If they ask us first at the times when they were eager, it would have been a nice touch.

Not sure when of if we will return but we will wait a while before then. Bill came to about $150+ per person.

Where to start? We decided to go here for our anniversary after hearing about Jacob’s from family ❤️ . This was the best service my wife and I have ever witnessed. Our server Romain and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and hospitable. At every chance, a member of the staff came to greet and congratulate us (chef, bartenders, servers, manager) which made us feel so special. Romain, our server, was outstanding. He was so kind, so friendly, and so helpful with the menu. He gave us great recommendations and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious. We opted for a T-Bone which had an unreal sear and buttery interior. The crudo which was really balanced and uniquely flavoured. The rapini which was salty and bitter, yet a little nutty. The Cearser salad which was tossed in a creamy but refreshing dressing. The flourless chocolate cake was sublime with the best chocolate chip ice cream ever made (the pastry/dessert chef is a mastermind). Thank you for making this one of the most memorable nights in our lives 🙏🏽❤️
Thank you Romain and Jacob’s and Co. We won’t forget tonight!

Nice location. Good food quality. Good service. Poor quality prep. Dining room is spacious and bright, very nice and modern. A lot of hard surfaces so can be difficult to have conversation with your tablemates. Service is attentive, but we wondered if we were at a training table, as the there was a lot of fumbling by the waitstaff with glasses and plates. Duck fat fries were served cold, and my ribeye, ordered medium rare, had a spinalis (deckle) that was fully cooked (well done, dry, and grey centre). For the amount this place charges, this is unforgivable.

Halal meat is available here as an option. Not a good look for a spot that claims to be the best and most authentic steakhouse in Toronto. Never coming back if they continue to serve this sacrificial meat as an option.

Hosted a party for 18 distinguished gentlemen in one of the 2 private rooms at the new Jacob location.

Food, we went with a set menu that included seafood towers to start. The kitchen deconstructed the towers of 2 into 4 so it would be easier to share amongst the 2 tables, brilliant. Seafood was extremely fresh and I have often said they should be known for their seafood as much as they are for their steaks. Stunning new fish locker display by the new seafood bar..

We had the Caesar salad which is classic steakhouse, made table side. Delicious and ingredients are superior (anchovies, parm etc..)

The Iberico with black truffle is an absolute shoe stopper appetizer. Must be ordered. If u know Iberico Jamon then this takes it to another level.

We had the pleasure of sharing 4 different steals, including their Japanese A5.A5 is an experience but can easily be shared..all the steaks were incredible and all cooked to medium rare perfection.

Service from the moment we arrived was as expected and very professional. The front of the house manager Nick K, ensured everything for this event went off without a hitch. Service in the private dining room was exceptional and attentive. I would host a private event at Jacob without hesitation based solely on how the guests were taken care of. I would speak with their event planning staff if you are interested in hosting an event as they have several price points and menus available!

Highly recommend Jacob Steak for your next dinner and or event!!

Overrated and overpriced - but great ambience and impeccable service.

They do not grill their steaks, they pan sear on a cast iron and finish in a broiler (in my opinion, all steaks should be grilled).

A perfectly cooked steak does not have a grey band in the middle (refer to my picture).

Beef tartar was a 1/10, it was a big hunk of underflavored meat.

Their tableside caesar salad was delicious and their seafood was on point.

We ordered the Classic tasting menu + drinks and it totalled to just over $1,000.00 with tips and tax in for two people.

Steak was dry and flavorless, will not be returning.

My husband and I enjoyed our experience here. We ordered steaks from PEI and were really happy with the flavour and the cook on them. They had a nice sear on the exterior and were tender. We also got the caesar salad, duck fat fries and creme brûlée.

The creme brûlée was 11/10! You need to order it.

We also received a small favour to go (muffins), which was a lovely touch. I recommend this restaurant and will visit again. 🙂

EXTRAordinary evening. The decadent environment only superseded by their exquisite cuisine. At a table with several friends, everyone enjoyed every dish. The bread, salmon tartare, beef tartare (loved that it was served with bread and crispy beds of lettuce to enjoy), enormous shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad (prepared with flair table-side), prime tenderloin, salmon, Wagyu striploin and ending with a perfect and beautiful crème brûlée… all perfectly prepared! So impressed. Thank you for a most delicious and memorable dining experience.

Amazing staff and amazing food! We went there for dinner and the service was one of the best we have ever gotten! The steaks and sides were also wonderful. Special shoutout to Romain for explaining the menu to us and quietly checking in on us throughout the evening.

The ambience is great. There was live piano as we dined.

The entire staff was lovely and contributed to an amazing evening.
