I love seeing desi food represented this way! The dishes were innovative while still maintaining flavour. Service was impeccable and we can’t wait to be back!

Insane price for terrible food quality. The cook literally dropped the food, picked it up, and just scraped the dust off before serving it. We paid $70 per person for such tiny portions — absolutely not worth it. Staff were very friendly thought

Was in town for a couple of days and decided to pay this place a visit with no reservation. The host/waiter greeted us and off that bat I knew what were in for; he was extremely condescending towards us and treated us like absolute garbage. He was extremely condescending towards my sibling and refused to show any signs of hospitality. We're pretty agreeable and friendly people so we don't know where that came from. We voiced our concern to the bartender and he was apologetic but not much changed for the rest of our dinner. In terms of food, we tried several plates and overall enjoyed what we had besides the kofta (it was quite greasy). Overall, what could have been a pretty enjoyable visit left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth. There was no place for us, as paying customers, to receive the short end of the stick if said person was having a bad day.

Super cute aesthetic and ambiance , toffee dessert was to die for! I do wish there was some more spice, would come back for kofta & sourdough naan. Halal, vegetarian, mocktails and cocktails. Something for everyone I really love that

We had an amazing meal and a special cocktail here last night. The starter was so flavourful that I could taste it for a long time after we finished eating it. Every single dish packs its own punch and the naan bread is super buttery which I love. The service is excellent with the servers knowing the menu inside and out. Most of the menu is veggie. Great atmosphere aswell, really cosy, good music and no TVs which I love. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

With all due respect, which unfortunately would be very little in this case, a 0 star review would be appropriate but I'm forced to give it a 1 star which is still too much. Any review given over a 1 star, especially the 5 star reviews have to be fake. The genuine reviews are all 1 stars. Also, no offense but just reading the names of those who have given this establishment a 5 star just screams lack of knowledge regarding Pakistani cuisine.

The restaurant completely missed the mark on the mission statement of taking a contemporary approach to Pakistani food. There's no Pakistani food here, it's diluted drivel that's borrowed from essentially every culture apart from Pakistan, apart from 2 menu items. There's no taste that resembles that of Pakistan, just generic butter chicken spices that can be found from mediocre Indian restaurants trying to survive all over the GTA. I wish I could call this gentrification but it isn't even that, the food isn't really edible. The portion sizes are so unbelievably small for the audacious price point, that you'd think you stumbled into a Michelin star restaurant but the food brings you back to reality. I say this with much concern; it's possible the owners have not a singular idea what Pakistani cuisine is. The chaat was shockingly bad, the chicken karahi bun was also shocking - considering it was butter chicken instead of chicken karahi altogether. I'm at a loss for words, I really hope they get their act together and seriously consider the reviews that they've been getting. For now, not worth the visit unfortunately. Best of luck.

Mediocre Indian food, very high priced, and very small portions. We were two people and spent $100 and still ended up going to Chick fil A after that. Naan was small and thin, samosa chaat was underwhelming, and tandoori paneer was one of the worst I have had. Would not recommend

Every bite was remarkable. Standouts for our group were the eggplant, the channa chaat salad, the mash ki dal, and the karahi chicken bun. The service was relaxed and friendly. Our server noticed a gift and card for a super belated birthday, so when we ordered dessert they showed up with a candle. It was a simple gesture but sometimes those little things go a really long way. Highly recommend you try this spot out. It’s nice to have some options in this area that aren’t just serving up the same trendy dishes of the moment.

I would highly recommend Jamil’s. And will be adding this spot to the regular rotation.

Disappointed with Food and Service. Came here because of the reviews. Portion size were small. Food was salty. The lamb was 2/3 fat. Waited a long time for the food to arrive. The dishes came out without the naan bread. Waited another 15 mins for the bread to arrive. By that time the dishes were cold. Waiters kept apologizing for the delay. Never again

One and done kinda place. Food was not good at all. Everything we ordered was either too salty or too sweet. Nihari was a joke. More fat than meat. Flavour just wasn't there. Dahi Puri was too salty. It was almost bitter. The Maash Dall came with 2 table spoons of rice and no bread! Whoever has designed the menu has no idea how Pakistani food is served. Service was really poor as well. Everything took too long. The atmosphere and the vibe was good. Too bad they don't know how to do good food.

Incredibly beautiful food and atmosphere. The restaurant itself is stunning and cozy. We were a group of four people and ordered one of everything on the menu - it was a perfect amount of food. I will be thinking about this meal for a long time. Every bite was surprising, delicious, and consistent. Thoughtful service that anticipates your needs. Thank you for a delicious meal!
