Fantastic. I love going here for a cappuccino actually - of all things. The sweet, cheese filled crepes are really great. I've been back a few times and Janchenko's is always very good food

Service, food and atmosphere were great. Who doesn't love a home cooked meal. Had perogies and a schnitzel sandwich with a cappuccino. I would come again if I am in the area. Price is fair for the amount of food you receive.

I’ve been here before during street festivals and the pastries were only ok. Not bad enough to leave a review or anything. But seeing this business be rude to their customers, and blame presence of bike lanes for their declining business upsets me.
Maybe try offering better service, more value for $, and kindness to your customers and you will see better results.
Went today, the service is TERRIBLE! It was very unpleasant to see the disgruntled face of the saleswoman when we asked for two more coffees to our order and added several cakes after the coffee. She was constantly looking at the queue and with an angry displeased look at us. But it's not our fault that she is alone there and the queue is long??♀️
And finally, a small black hair was found in the poppy seed roll... Of course, after that, I didn't want to eat anything else.
They left $70 in the cafe and left some tips, but they were not satisfied.

delicious pastries, my friend loves them too. Beautiful village in general, with a ton of these little stores.

I walked in with high expectations, drawn in by the appealing display in the window. I paid $13.50 plus tax for a smoked salmon potato pancake dish and eagerly awaited my meal. When I received the box, it felt surprisingly light, but I didn't open it until I got home.
To my disappointment, the portion inside was embarrassingly small. It was not only underwhelming in size but also in taste—completely bland. I felt utterly deceived. This experience has left me feeling duped and dissatisfied. I deserve a refund, and my dignity back. -_-
How can you charge $13.50+ tax for something like this? The potato pancake was cold as ice. There’s hardly any food here. I can buy an entire pack of smoked salmon and a pound of potatoes for the same price.
