This place is great. Favourites are chicken schnitzel sandwich, pierogis and borscht. The baked goods like plum cake and donuts are pretty good too. The staff are super friendly and welcoming even when I showed up right as they were closing
I really like the olivier from here and often grab things to go from the fridge or behind the counter. However I find it hard to support the buissness at times based on the work environment I’ve witnessed and the treatment of the staff. I came in today to buy something from the fridge and stood at the counter while the owner scoulded the staff loudly in the back. After waiting at the counter for a few minutes I got uncomfortable and left.
Had the pleasure of stopping in with my kids for a late afternoon sweet snack. Was not only greeted with kindness and heart, but had the most delicious lemon tart and cookies.
