Stopped by last Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly, accommodating, and delicious the food was. I really haven't had brunch that good in a very long time. Tiny little room with Janelle making all the food and attending to the door, with one server to manage the few tables. In the beginning of princess and the frog, Tiana is serving breakfast after working all night, and she leaves everyone with a big smile. It felt like being there haha! Big smile on my face after I left and a full happy belly

I ordered two BLT sandwiches for lunch. The sandwiches were good, no issue with the taste or service. However, very disappointed with the price…$22 for both. Over priced for what I received. The sandwiches were small and ordinary. Not worth the price.
There are few places left in this world that offer an intimate, owner-operated experience, and Janelle's is really a perfect little spot. Everything is crafted with care, from the food to the menu and decor. Janelle is an incredible chef and host, and truly welcomes all who pass through her door as if they were old friends. This was our last stop on the way home from Toronto, and I couldn't ask for a better way to cap off the trip. Go and see Janelle. You won't regret it.

I stopped by here the other day while we were walking our dog to get two breakfast sandwiches and two iced oat lattes.
The service was great, the sandwiches were delicious, and I loved the warm and cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant.
It’s a hidden gem for sure!

Quaint little kitchen with delicious breakfast options. The small, but cozy interior really gives an intimate dining experience. The smell of the food cooking emanates throughout the restaurant as you watch the chef prepare the meals and the piano music quietly plays.
The smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and potato hash was so tasty, with the fresh sour cream and green onions complimenting perfectly. The French toast was succulent, with its sweet accompanying maple syrup. I had a wonderfully refreshing iced coffee with my meal as well.
The decor and ambiance made me feel like I was whisked away to Paris and the friendly service was so welcoming and warming. I can't wait to return to try some of the other menu items.
A note to those wishing to visit: there is limited seating, so maybe call ahead or plan to potentially wait a little bit to be seated. Any wait will be well worth it!
