I stopped by here the other day while we were walking our dog to get two breakfast sandwiches and two iced oat lattes.

The service was great, the sandwiches were delicious, and I loved the warm and cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant.

It’s a hidden gem for sure!

Quaint little kitchen with delicious breakfast options. The small, but cozy interior really gives an intimate dining experience. The smell of the food cooking emanates throughout the restaurant as you watch the chef prepare the meals and the piano music quietly plays.

The smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and potato hash was so tasty, with the fresh sour cream and green onions complimenting perfectly. The French toast was succulent, with its sweet accompanying maple syrup. I had a wonderfully refreshing iced coffee with my meal as well.

The decor and ambiance made me feel like I was whisked away to Paris and the friendly service was so welcoming and warming. I can't wait to return to try some of the other menu items.

A note to those wishing to visit: there is limited seating, so maybe call ahead or plan to potentially wait a little bit to be seated. Any wait will be well worth it!

I dont want to be hard on this place since it is a super small buisness run almost entirely by one person but I dont think it deserves the almost perfect score either.

We got the veggie blt and the french toast and both were just okay. The blt had bacon made from crispy rice paper which was something I have not seen done before. The bread seemed a bit dry and the sandwhich in general was a bit bland which was unfortunant. The french toast was decent but also nothing too special either. I understood adding berries to the side but grapes were an interesting choice to mix with french toast. I suppos it was just what was in season at the time.

We sat further in since there were a handful of bees inside at the window but it didnt end up being an issue. Its a tiny place but cozy with handmade menus and a nice cook and server.

It has some ups and downs but it seems like a place many people like.

Janelle’s kitchen has been on my list and I am so happy I made it finally. Janelle is super nice and the place feels homey and cozy. I had the egg breakfast sandwich and my friend had the quiche, we both loved our selection. Nice spot for a quick stroll, grab a yummy breakfast and nice coffee and get on with your day on the right vibe 😊

Almost don’t want to give this place a rating because it is such a hidden gem, but Janelle deserves it. I dream of the breakfast sandwich, and the service is warm and kind. Toronto is lucky to have this

For something lighter and suitable to start off your day, each element in this simplistic breakfast sandwich is prepared with the utmost care to highlight its natural flavours. The fluffy scrambled eggs are cooked perfectly to retain their structure in a sandwich, with a subtle butteriness perfumed throughout each bite. The cheddar adds a mellow cheesy tanginess, while the prosciutto chips add a pleasant burst of umami, which is all tied together with spicy mayo and a toasted wheat bun.
